Any one heard of this series? True Blood is based off of them and I heard they're good.

OMG OMG OMG I have the series (the ones that have come out )

They are AMAZING!! If you love the Supernatural world you'll love these. Shape shifters, Vampires, Fairies, Witches, Wizards,.... the whole nine yards. TrueBlood doesn't follow exactly by the series... they never do?!... but I would say that the books are more incredible than the show!!!!!

I haven't read this series yet, and I didn't know TrueBlood was based off of a series of books! I'll have to check them out now, because I absolutely love TrueBlood.

^^ Really, Erin? I wanted to read them and I was on a mission to borrow them from a friend in 9th grade, but it has been 2 years and I've become way too busy to even breathe. But I wanna read them! I love the series, so they should be fun to read! Besides, my bookworm-side has been in stand-by mode for a while. It needs to come out.

I just finished the 6th book in the series. They're not a bad read but I wish she'd be more descriptive with the action sequences.

I had read the first four last summer, and am currently half way through the second to most recent book that came out called Dead and Gone. I have loved all the books so far, and they think they are great for those who are looking for a more mature themed book dealing with vampires and other supernatural concepts.

This series is like an addiction to me!! I now have every book that has anything to do with the Sookieverse! Although there is a new book with a Sookie short story in it that is set to come out soonish if it has not already *mental note to check that out*

Yeah, I was hooked from the first book. Always an Eric Northman fangirl. ALWAYS! And Claudine and Claude are two of my fave charries. Amelia is super fun too. TO watch the friendship between Sook and Pam grow is great.

Well I love vampires and I actually started watching the show when it first premiered. Didn't know it was based off books but then I didn't bother getting into the books because I was elbow deep in like 3 series at that time.

Well my cable went out for about two weeks in july and so went out and bought the first book. Took me like 2 hours to find a copy too. Wal-Mart and Target were ut so I had to go to Barnes and Noble and pay almost 9 bucks for it when it was only 6 at Wal-Mart.

Well honey I was hooked after that. And I read the entire series up to Dead in the Family within a week Favorite book is Dead to the World where Eric gets hit with that witches spell. I loved Eric in that book

Its weird how she is throwing in every magical and mythical creature known to man into the books, but I like how she is doing it. It not at the point where its overkill though I hope it never gets to that point. Some of the intimate scenes, though they aren't raunchy, well there was one in Dead in the Family, they are a bit more descriptive than I want to read. I'm just not into those types of books.

I do like the bartenders at Fangtastia not lasting long its kinda like the DADA post at Hogwarts

I want the next book to come out so badly I am going through Sookie withdrawals. It is getting ridiculous. Since this short story book has been published it shouldn't be long until the next novel comes out

Omg. I went thru a book a day after i started reading the first book. Now im in withdrawl because i heard the next book doesnt comeout until february....im so depressed

She did the short story book with the other author's which included a Sookie short story and then in February the Sookie Stackhouse Companion comes out... it has a novella included in it and interviews with Alan Bell. But I WANT MORE SOOKIE. NOW. *boycotts*

Actually her Sookie Stackhouse Novels all come out the first Tuesday of May. So Yeah.... She has finished writting book 11. Now we have is the wait. *sigh*

now im really excited because it still has a chance to come out this year

OMG... JUST Saw this! I love that plot. But I think you are right... Eric probs wouldn't give up the crown for Sookie or anyone/anything else.

I am super stoked for the Sookie companion book! Although she posted on her website that the release has been delayed due to personal issues.
