Well, I think we should get started on the newsletter. The FC has been going too slow as of late, only a few members have been active, and that's not good. I'm almost at a loss to see how we can bring members back; no one has even entered the comtest we started and no one is posting in the discussions.

Should we get started on Officer Applications? Or should we just make an announcment asking those interested to PM us with a reason why they want to be an officer?

Yes, we should. And I agree, it is getting more inactive.

Personally, I'm starting to think we should start from scratch, with just a thread, but I'm not sure if that would make it any better..

Uhm, I'm not sure. I think we would probably have to go with the second one, with so little members here I think it'll be hard to get Officers, I'm afraid.

Yeah, I'm starting to think we should do it like the JKRFC, and have one main thread where we do everything (chat, games, etc) and as the club gets better have a discussion thread up.

That sounds really good, actually. Maybe it'll bring back the activeness if we basically kill the forum? Erm, or what I mean is maybe it'll make everyone realize we have to work to keep it...you know?

Think we should ask Kay or Dainsie about that, if we could make that happen?

Okay I'm going to write up a newsletter telling the members what's going on and stuff like that. This was at least a few of our members will come back and hopefully stay

Breanna, our new Activities Officer came up with some great ideas, and here they are:

ADFC Ideas:

Contests: (All to be judged by officers)
-draw the best sketch of Albus Dumbledore
-draw what you think Dumbledore looked like as a teenager
-make the best Dumbledore siggy
-write the best poem about Albus Dumbledore
-write the best short story about a class of Dumbledore's when he was a professor and not the headmaster

Games:
-ABC Game: For every letter, say something relating to Dumbledore
-Add a Word to the story game: Add one word to the story about Dumbledore and we'll see what we come up with

Fiction:
-writing short stories about Dumbledore's childhood
-write a letter to Harry from Dumbledore written before he died
-write what you think was on the letter Dumbledore left with Harry at Number 4 Privet Drive for the Dursleys to read

I really like the fan fiction ideas, especially the last one, I think it would be a great way to start getting the members back.
