Actually, I find myself feeling a little sorry for Draco...he's caught up in things he cannot control because of his own father. He confessed to Mrytle that if he didn't succeed he would be killed along with his parents....yet, in the end, he couldn't bring himself to do the actual deed! His heart's not as in it as is required of a true Death Eater. I believe, at least at this point, he would change if he could.

I don't think Draco is evil...I completely agree with tate win...by the way...congratulations to those who are now in the next round for the quiz! I'll post the newquiz as soon as I get the time to make it

i dont think draco is really evil... he was forced to do all he did in HBP because voldemort would have killed his parents & him... i felt really sorry for him

I don't think that Draco is evil only misunderstood. Plus he can't be all bad he is to in love with Hermione, and she would never be able to forgive him if he harmed some one that she loved. I am not saying that he is all good he would be a bit boring if he was. There is just enough good in him to make you root for him and enough of the bad to say you nasty little ferret take that.

I had to run my dog into the vet for an emergency a short bit ago! Gave me quite a scare, but she's okay now!

LOL. I agree with everything except the nastly little ferret bit! Hehe....I would never scold Draco. And he's not in love with Hermione. He's in love with me!! I just realized I double posted sorry hehehe. I was so sleepy when I got up at 7 this morning and came in here and turned on the computer I fell sleep again in the computer chair and woke up at 10 and the only thing that popped into my head
was that I wasted three hours that I could have been on SS. There is something wrong with that somewhere I would rather be here than sleep and eat.lol

tatewin I hope that everything is alright with your dog. I do not have a dog but I know that they can be your best friend and if you let them in can be your family. My sister had a dog that was her daughters until this summer he was 9 or 10 years old and they had him since he was a puppy he was struck by a car and my sister vowed she would never have another dog because chester broke the mold there would never be another like him. That is also what she said about Sam and Harvey and Charmane and the 20 cats that she had for her kids growing up hehehe. Now that the kids are grown though and married I don't think she will get another pet it will be strange going over to her home and not have some type of furry friend leap out of the corners of the house or porch to welcome you.

Carly is fine now and back to normal!!! She turn a year old last July, and although full grown, she is still just an overgrown puppy! She's very heavy,(big, not fat--she is lab/pit mix) and since she is afraid for my from stairs (I live on the second floor) I had to carry her down the stairs. My back is really sore today!!!! I also have a 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, two cats and a bird!!!!. My oldest has three dogs, her daughter has three cats, my youngest daughter has three dogs: the father, mother and sister of Carly! My sister only has one cat because she lives in a small condo!
I have run the gammot with pets. I even had a fox and a racoon, once! And I hand raised a baby Robin!

I agree, although they shouldn't be wearing skirts at all. Their just supposed to be wearing robes, we weren't supposed to be able to see what they're wearing underneath, same with the guys. Ginny looks good without it though!Maybe she's rebeling.

I agree, they should be in their robes! This is the Wizarding world, not the Muggle world, after all! I read somewhere that they shortened Harry's hair because it is a sign of his growing up, taking on more responsibility, etc....but again, the film makers forget where this is all at....after all, who could be more grown up and responsible than our own Albus Dumbledore, and look at HIS hair!!!!!!!!

Dumbledore's hair tatewin how true of our man. Also I got thinking about the reason why Ginny was wearing pants when all the other girls were in skirts. One is that they could be hand me downs of Ron's my sister in law thinks it is because she is a tom boy. I know that has nothing to do with Dumbledore but he is probably wondering that same question. "Where the heck are your robes we wear uniforms at this school and that includes robes go to your dorms and pick them up this instant." hehehe....

It is almost humerous how the directors seem to want to "modernize" the characters rather than leave in the traditions!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Next they'll have the trio searching for Voldemort on in-line skates while listening to i-Pods!

If you think about the year this is, it's 1995. In the later 90's everything began to really modernize. CD players and all that stuff. But, I do agree that the longer, shaggier hair was far better. Only becuase it looked awsome on Fred and George.
Dumbledore is in his own category for hair-do's... becuase that is how he is described in the books. Long messy of grey hair that he could tuck into his belt. All they describe Harry's hair is messy and unkept. That leaves it pretty open for the costume designers.
I guess they want something different. Or maybe it was a pain to keep their hair long.

It's not so much the hair, but the Hogwart's traditions....Remember how they wore cloaks and uniforms in the first two movies, etc... Hogwarts is NOT a public school where students wear what they want. Street clothes are alright outside of classes in the student's spare time, etc. Muggle clothing would be fine at the Burrow, etc. But not at school, if you know what I mean. But hair length shouldn't matter when focusing on Harry's maturing and becoming more responsible, as WB, put it...it's kinda stereotyping in a way....Ron's hair is still moderately long! Does that mean he's immature and irresponsible? How about Dumbledore with his long hair???

Yeah, I agree with DracosDuchess. They should read the books and fully understand them. If they just read the book to the one movie tey will not understand it either. They can make it a little different however changing the story or characters too much ruins the movie.

thats true they reall should read the books. i want to see quidditch in OoTP.
