The loose ends are loose just for now. They could mean something, indeed, but JKR has told us that Dumbledore is dead.  I haven't read a whole lot of theories on this site besides in the fanclub threads. I like to see what other people think, but I don't want to obsess myself too much, and I want to keep some element of a surprise for myself when I read the last book! |
