Professor Korvis yawned as she unlocked the classroom and walked in. The smell of the flowers greeted her, causing her to smile brightly. "Oh, this is going to be a wonderful lesson! I guess the students will be here soon! Jimmy, what time is it?" She looked down to see the time displayed on her little contruct. Her eyes grew wide as she realized: she was nearly 15 minutes late! "What?! That can't be right! Jimmy, why didn't you wake me sooner?!"

The construct huffed as if to say it had tried, the pointed to the group of students waiting.

She followed the pointed finger and blinked. "Oh my... I'm terribly sorry everyone! Please, come in!"

The classroom was filled with all sorts of plants, blooming beautifully. Arranged around the classroom were various sorts of vases and pitchers of water. Colored packets lined the room as well.

Steelsheen ran up to the Greenhouses, afraid that she was running late. She was still snickering from the incident at Flying classes, and had nearly forgotten about her Herbology. "Good Morning Professor!" Steelsheen greeted her brightly and proceeded to choose a good spot in the greenhouse.

Jillian was early as she entered the Herbology classroom. Her nose crinkled as the scent of different flowers entered it. Each flower had a beautiful scent yes, but when some of them combine, they just smelled odd.

As she made her way towards a preferred seat near the front, she noticed packets lining the room. What were these things for? Seeds maybe... she thought as she took a seat in the first row.

"Good day, Professor." she greeted politely.

Blinking as she saw a woman approaching her and the other girls, Melina quickly placed herself behind Juniper and followed her older and taller friend. Herbology was probably one of the subjects she had researched less and so, she was feeling nothing but anxiety. After all, she had no idea of what her eyes would meet. Hopefully the plants she'd have to deal with were such as inofensive as the common muggle plants she had came across in her life. Hopefully...

Reese walked into the Herbology class and smiled."Hello,Professor.How are you today?"She hoped the Professor remembers that every plant Reese touches dies.

"Hello everyone!" Korvis said brightly. "I'm glad that you're all here! Now, let's begin, shall we? Let's hear from you what you think the most important thing for a girl to know about Herbology is!"

Anna glanced around the greenhouse, wondering when things would get started. The professor was a bit late and students were still continuing to straggle in. At least there were a lot of pretty plants blooming all around the classroom. Anna wondered if this professor was going to be anything like the Potions professor, because so far, she seemed to be the spitting image personality wise. Sigh.

Ah, finally. Things were getting started. Anna raised her hand to answer the question the professor just asked. "There are several things a girl must know, including proper planting and potting procedures, proper care when attending to it's growth, and how to care for it and maintain it when it's grown." Anna thought just a minute on the way the professor had stressed "a girl must know," and decided to add one additional thought. "I guess a girl would need to know how to decorate with them, such as which colors coordinate with others." She shrugged, feeling a bit silly saying that second part.

Wow. That was a pretty tricky question. Jillian pondered for a while. What was the most important thing to know about Herbology?

Jillian raised her hand. "That each plant deserves proper care and yet not all plants are cared for in the same way." That was...acceptable, right?

Melina tilted her head and raised her hand, not certain as to what the answer would be. "Perhaps how to treat it correctly, ma'am. I mean, how to make it grow healthy and stay healthy," She said. "And we should always try to make it look as pretty as we can," She added with a nod.

"Giving them the care and attention they need," Samantha said.

"Very good my dears! Two points to each of you!" She pat the construct, which was a sort of gel/glass-like thing floating above a pair of feet, a pair of hands floating at its sides. "Get me some coffee Jimmy, will you?" She looked back to the rest of the class. "So, today we will be learning about flower arranging! Now of course, you are going to have to select very healthy plants, for they will produce the best flowers. What do you think you should look for in a flower?"
