Tapestry Room
|
Open to any It took nearly an hour for Phoebe to find a chair that was small enough to carry but big enough to princess in and then to drag it all the way to this very empty room with the very large tapestry. Like, it was so pretty and Phoebe was sure it was telling her a story, imparting all the secrets of the mansion to her. If only she'd brought some snacks. Some tea, even. If only she'd brought a blanket and her slippers and a book. This would be a very nice place, especially since no one else had even wandered by since she'd settled into her chair and started investigating the tapestry. |
*steals* Most days, Octavia worked hard to abide by all of the rules the French school had so she didn’t make any enemies or disappoint her new headmaster, but today she wasn’t in class and so didn’t much care. She wanted to be Octavia, so she wore a skater skirt with designer knee high socks and an old wizwrock shirt. It wasn’t very put together for what the host school liked, but it was what she liked. She had also been doing whatever her heart desired all day, which wasn’t much of too many things. Breakfast with Flynn, time out in the gardens, and now? Now she was following her calico cat around, letting her decide their next adventure. It was fitting that they came across Phoebe. ”Hey, Fi.” Tavie was light on her feet, trailing Coral who had already made her way over to the blonde for attention. ”What are you doing in here?” Looking around, the first year couldn’t find much interesting about it. |
Yoyo spent a lot of her time in this school looking around. If what other kids said was true they wouldn't be here forever and the Hufflepuff wanted to soak every bit of the mansion and all it's wonders in. She'd been in the dance studio- which explained her pink leotard, and sneakers- practicing a contemporary routine she hoped to show Flynn, but now? she was just wandering around, peeking into empty rooms, grinning at passing students (Beauxbaton and Hogwarts alike) and genuinely enjoying her time off from school work. some noises- a low but enthusiastic cheering had taken Yoyo to the giant chess room where a match between two seventh years had captivated her attention for a solid 30 minutes- and might have kept it up if the stewards of the match hadn't ushered her out after she whooped with glee when the golden-haired student had taken out the brunette's rook in a dazzling move. She giggled all the way out, unbothered and unembarrassed but sad because she'd never see the end- that was okay, tho- she could make it up later before bed, and then it would be even better because it would be an ending that only belonged to Yoyo. Humming to herself, the first year once more found herself meandering through the hallway., unaware her friends were just on the other side of that door. |
"What if this tapestry tells us how to find the Great Treasure of French Fries? It's a potato box full of rubies, guarded by garden gnomes and... wood nymphs." Phoebe traced a few mysterious shapes on the tapestry with her fingertips. She could make a really good adventure out of this tapestry, but only if Tavie was game for it. "Also I think we should invite everyone down here and have them bring food and pillows and we can make a nest. No one even uses this room." |
hey cuties we're on a different timeline Finneas liked popping into the tapestry room every now and again as he made way to his There was nothing ordinary about this visit to the room. Just a brief little pop in! Just a quick peek at his favorite lil--Uh. That was strange. Doors didn't have the tendency to just shut on their own... No matter! Finneas was ready to head out anyway, he didn't need an angry door to scare him off. But... When he went to open said door... It wouldn't budge? So he tugged at the knob a little harder.... And then harder.... Harder, even...... And POP goes the door knob! This is................. unfortunate. |

What was it with this place and being so dang hard to navigate? Shaking his head, he looked around the corridor for something that he recognised but what was there? Nothing. Not a single thing except for a door without a door knob. “Huh. Strange” he murmured as he walked a little closer to the door, his interest piqued now as the door shook as if someone were inside trying to get out. “Uhhhh hello?”. |

Finneas tried shaking the doorknobless door a bit more, hoping that he could get it open on his own. Though it wasn't working. Not. One. Bit. It was very lucky that he happened to hear the voice on the other side, as the shaking was causing such a ruckus. It was his SAVIOR! Hopefully not in the form of the Headmistress because that would certainly cause an even bigger issue than this one. "Er, yes, hello!" He could have summoned a patronus too, but of course the one time he happened to forget his wand on a trip to the loo. Why did disaster seem to follow him everywhere in this castle? "Who's there?" He ought to have started with knock-knock. |
Yes, that's right, a giant man eating penguin. Quote:
“Uhh it’s Ewan, who’s this?” curiosity getting the better of him now as he looked at the door only to see the lack of a door knob there. Why was it that strange things always followed him? It didn’t make a difference what country he was in or what school. He could be living in an igloo in the Antarctic and some type of man eating penguin the size of a giant would most likely find him. |

EWAN! Fantastic! Absolutely and utterly fantastic! "Errrrr... It's me," he smiled awkwardly on the other side of the door. "Professor Schmoe!" Yes this was great. Incredible. "It appears as if... The knob... came loose." |
