Aww - very cute! You have a very unique and definite style, and you pull it all off really well (sometimes people who draw chibish things can only draw one expression and one pose, you don't seem to have any limits  ). About the only critique I can offer is that you might want to consider making your shadows/hilights a bit "stretchier" - covering more of the surface than just a thin strip around the edge. If the shadows/hilights cut up into the figure, you can use them to define things like fabric folds and different areas on the face (cheeks, nose). In doing so you'll want to use a lot more "steps" between your base color and final hilight color/shadow color, but there are several ways to do this. There are a bunch of good tutorials at FARP ( http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/) that I've learned a lot from and adore. (And of course if I can help you in any way let me know!)
My nitpicking aside, this is all absolutely gorgeous - I adore your style and you pull it off extremely well. Keep up the excellent work! | |

Ergh, about not updating in years. I update my DeviantArt, so check that out too. Anywho, looking back on these I shudder and grimace and stare at such at them in horror. Okay, maybe I'm overreacting but my proportions are out of whack, my shading is awful (though it hasn't improved much) and I was still developing a style...yes well here are some improvements:
Harry smiling
Loves Ron in general
Loves Ron lurking in the background

omg i am in love with those! especially with the one about harry. "he betrayed them" omg that scene was so funny i cracked up he looked pathetic! (don't get me wrong, i like dan, but that particular scene *giggles* sorry.. )

Here's a painting I did for Valentine's day. It's Ron and Hermione (if you couldn't already tell). Drawn with pencil, painted with standard watercolors.
Another painting I did for an English Project.
A sketch of a young Remus Lupin. It's him in mid-transformation. This was sort of a funny picture in the sense that his legs are just like 'Ka-wolf!' and he's just like 'OMG!?!?!'...yeah
