Harry Potter 's books have been translated in Arabic in many Editions. Have you read them or you knew Harry from the English Edition. What's your opinion?? Did they really good or they weren't as good as the other languages translation??

I read some from an arabic version, but what kept annoying me was how they kept spelling Hermione wrong! They kept spelling hermayoon.
Though it was good.

When I read them..There was some parts that are cut unfortunatly and the translation was what I want to...I talking about the traslation of Egypt..I don't know if Harry Potter books were translated into arabic in any other countries

مع أفتتاح معرض الكتاب الأن في مصر ، صدرت نسخة مترجمة من العدد السادس لهاري بوتر. هل أي عضو قرأها و هل صدرت أي ترجمة لها في أي دولة عربية؟؟

they said that they cut a part of it coz it was unappropriate
i dont know where exactly but i think when Ginny was talking to Ron about not kissing any one

I don't know if DH Arabic Version came out in Cairo Book Fair or not??

I have read the first 5 books in english, the sixth in arabic, and again the seventh in english.
Reading the books in there original language is a good thing for me.
Also, reading it in arabic was as good as reading it in english.

مع وجود جزء صغير محذوف أعتقد أنه عدة كلمات من احدى فصول الأمير الخليط الدم حيث كتب أنه حذف لسبب لا أخلاقي...

I recently knew that there are Arabic editions though !
i didn't know that there are arabic editions except after i read the English ones , i download the POA on the computer and tried to read this one but it wasn't that enjoyable , i didn't like them really :\ the English Editions are better  | |
