Well, I had assumed so. You guys are missing out on a load of sweet fun and free candy! Loly: Oops, sorry I forgot all that conflict and junk.
Laila: This is the one day of the year when it's ok to go door to door and take candy from a stranger. There are costume contests and pumpkin carving contests. You guys have to see some of the creations...they're so artistic! We also decorate our houses with pumpkins, ghosts, etc and at night go trick or treating in your costumes for candy.
In my family we have a group of family friends who bring their little kids every year to our house and we just all go out together.
Roro: Oh I know what you mean but Halloween isn't all about scaring others. For me, Halloween is all about getting the creativity wheels spinning. I always make my costumes as well as my little siblings' costumes instead of buying them like 'cos I want them to be funny & unique instead of a generic vampire or witch. It's a lot of fun making funny costumes with my little siblings. This year I'm going to be "cardiac arrest," (medical term for when the blood stops flowing to your heart), by dressing as a heart with handcuffs. It's a play on words just like my costume last year as a "'cereal' killer." My little, cousin, the one you talked to, is going to be a bag of jelly beans.
*sings* This is Halloween, this is Halloween.
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night!  <---I always thought this was a dancing sheep 'til allucha pointed out that it was a ghost a few nights ago.
