Caroline walked in to the working area ready to get to work. She walked over to her desk and looked around, not that many people...Where was everybody...Odd... She looked over at the pictures on her desk, one was of her and her sister and the other was her and her 9 other sibilings and her parents...She would have to visit them soon, she hadnt talked to them in ages. Sighing, she looked around once more...Did she know anybody in here?

Hadley walked back to her desk with a hot coffee in her hands. She set it on one side of her desk and adjusted her notebook in front of her. Dipping her quill into the ink she began writing the 19th Chapter draft of her book. She was quite a way in when she looked up and saw someone else there. Hmm.

"Hi there," Hadley said, seeing this woman looking around.

Caroline turned to where the voice was coming from and moved a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear and said Hi! Im Caroline Nightingale, but call me Caro. She hadnt met this woman before, she wondered what her name was...

Hadley smiled, "Hi Caro, I'm Hadley. Just Hadley," she said, and had a little laugh.

"What is your position here?" she asked out of curiosity.

She smiled and said Nice to meet you, Just Haldey. She laughed and said I am the Gringotts Liaison, but I dont know much about it, sadly...What about you?Caro was happy, she met a new friend, yay!

Gringotts Liason? Whoa! "So do you work with the Goblins?" she asked, out of curiosity.

Well, Hadley didn't know much about her job, either. "I'm a Spirit Support Officer," she said, "I don't really know much about my role either, seeing as I haven't yet had a Spirit needing assistance with anything, but I'm writing a book on Spirit Psychology, basically how to communicate with them," Hadley explained. She had initially taken the position as a way of working with Spirits and using her experiences to help with her book, which had been in the making for a few months. So far, though, she wasn't having luck.

Caroline smiled and said Yes, they arent as bad as they like to say they are, when you get to know them and become the goblin they are somewhat nice, but tell them I said that. A Spirit Support Officer, that sounded cool. So you work with spirits, like ghosts? Yeah the goblins are pretty good to never get into trouble or need help...That sounds intresting, are you almost finished?

Hadley smiled, trying to imagine a nice Goblin. Nope, she couldn't! It did feel comforting to know that they weren't as bad as they made out to be, though.

"Yes, ghosts. Mainly the ones that just need a bit of guidance, but I've not had much to do with them yet. I suppose they don't really need my help," she said, and shrugged.

Oh, her book? "Nowhere near finished, unfortunately. But I'm slowly getting there, it's been good working here where I can have first-hand experience at things."

After taking a big sip from her mug she said, "So have you worked in the Ministry long?"

Caroline laughed at her reaction about the nice goblin. She said Or they dont like to admit that they need help, goblins like to do that too.
She strteched her arms and said Oh that sucks, but Im sure you can finish it!
She forgot about her coffee but when Hadley took a sip of hers, Caroline remembered, she took a big swig of hers and thought how long has it been. She said Um, maybe a year I think, what about you?

"Oh wow. I've only been here a few weeks," Hadley said, grudgingly. She had been so angry that her parents had been the reason she had to move back to England. Of course she was sorry they were dead, but they didn't have to... stick around!

"I will finish it, I'm determined. Even if I have to go to Hogwarts again to speak to the house ghosts and Peeves," she said and laughed. "Did you go to Hogwarts, too?"

Caroline smiled and said Oh wow... So she had a reason for not knowing anything about her job...

Its so good that you are so determined! Thinking of when she had to leave Hogwarts she said Yes, but only for my first year sadly, I was in Ravenclaw what about you? She had hated her parents for making them go to Italy but without the school she would never have met her husband...

"I was in Ravenclaw too! Oh, that's a shame, where did you go after your first year?" Hadley asked. She had known a few people who dropped out... well, were more pulled out of Hogwarts because their parents thought it would be better to home school them. Hadley was thankful that her parents hasn't done that to her. She couldn't imagine leaving Hogwarts and being home schooled, all those friends gone?

Hadley laughed, "Well determination is the only thing getting me through this book. I certainly don't have any motivation for it, that's for sure," she said.

Atticus just needed to get out of his office. If he sat there and sorted through all those papers any longer, he was certain he would go mad. Besides, he really ought to check up on his employees, if only to say hello and make sure nothing was wrong. He could probably do with a snack too, so he'd head for the break room as well. So after setting his papers off to the side of his desk to look at later, he got up, left his office, and headed for the work area.

Merlin, it felt so nice to walk around and see people. Though it wasn't quite as nice as it would be if there were some creatures around as well, it was still refreshing to see something besides the inside of his office and a bunch of papers and books.

Spotting a couple of his employees, Atticus walked over to them, smiling as he approached. "Good day, Ms. Willowgrass, Ms. Nightingale," he said. "I trust you are both doing well?"

Caroline smirked it had been a long time ago and luckily for her parents she had forgaven them after she met her boyfriend who she is still with currently and if he doesnt pop the special question soon she might kill him, and her sister would have to help her even if she was a hit witch or Caroline would just ask him but where was the fun in that... She said Oh thats cool, were you a prefect of head girl?Mist School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, its in Italy She cracked her neck and said Well as long as you have something thats getting you to write it and your not just doing it to prove someone wrong. Hearing her name she turned around and said Good day to you as well Mr.Aldredge! I am doing very well, what about you?

Out of the corner of her eye, Hadley saw Atticus approach her and Caroline. Hmm... should they be getting on with work? But his smile showed her that he wasn't about to throw around orders, and she relaxed with a smile.

"Hello Mr. Aldredge, I'm doing well. Trying to find resources for this book I'm writing," she said, closing the cover of it. It hadn't exactly gone as she planned but she was slowly getting there. She just lacked the correspondence with the spirits to help her gain information. "And how are you?" she asked, out of interest.

Laughing slightly, Hadley said "No, definitely not. I had the grades but I didn't exactly have the social requirements." She spent most of her time with the Grey Lady, in empty classes or the library, studying and talking. How sad.

Hadley listened to her talk about her old school, "Oh, wow, was it good there?" she asked. Of course it would have been good, it was a Wiarding and Witchcraft school, but she wasn't sure anywhere would be as good as Hogwarts.

"Please, just Atticus is fine," he replied, not for the first time - and probably not the last - but still kept a patient smile on his face. He'd say it as many times as it took until they all just called him by his first name. It was better than feeling like he was like his dad when people called him Mr. Aldredge. "And I am doing quite well too, thank you."

Then he heard Hadley mention she was writing a book. That was interesting. "What's your book about?" He was certainly intrigued. If only he was clever enough to write a book...not that he'd read it, of course, and he wasn't sure anyone else would either. So perhaps it was a good thing he couldn't write one.

Hadley smiled at Atticus and gave him a small nod, "Thank you Atticus," she said. It was nice not having to call people Mr. and Mrs. it just sounded too formal. And she didn't particularly like work being formal.

"Oh, my book. It's called Communicating with Spirits. I'm trying to write a Psychology textbook to assist people with communicating with the spirits they encounter, although I'm not sure if I will have a part in there about poltergeists or not," she said, nodding at her own words. She was very interested in the book but was unsure what other people may have thought. She wanted to finish it so that she could look at getting it published to help people, either for study or personal reasons. "So far I only have limited contact with spirits so my information isn't as widely spread as I would have liked, but I've been able to write a decent portion of a few chapters so far," she added. She just needed more spirits to come in so she could speak to them, but so far that had not happened. Well, she would be able to find spirits somehow, she was sure of it.

Oh boy. My first day of work here at the ministry. I wonder what will happen. Hmm. Thomas thought. He had a lot of stuff on his mind because it was his first day of work here at the ministry. He was very happy were he was placed. Though he was put as a Junior Dragon Reseacher. He knew some stuff about dragons. He walked over to the nearest open cubicle. He got out some parchment and ink. He put three different sized quills neatly from tallest to smallest on his desk. Now what did he have to do? Just wait?

Caroline started to laugh at Hadleys social statement. She too wasnt very high up int the social standards but managed to become a prefect. Thinking of her time at Mist she smiled Yes it was great there, its a lot like Hogwarts in fact the founders based it off of Hogwarts. One the founders is a ghost there!

Caroline was a bit surprised at Mr.Aldredge Atticus alonging them to call him by his first name. Thank you Atticus smirking at him and then adding Thats good that your doing well! Oh yay it was back on book talk, she loved hearing about Hadley's book it seemed so intreating I mean interacting with spirits and all that stuffers!

She looked over at the newbie over at his desk getting ready to work. She yelled over at him Hey new kid, why dont you come over here?

Hadley became VERY interested when she found out one of the founders is a ghost there. The information they would have! "Oh, wow, that's really really interesting," she commented. "I... I Wonder if you would have the name of that ghost?" she asked, pulling out a spare piece of paper in case she did have the name. She would HAVE to leave the country soon to do more research for the book, but before she went she wanted to make sure she had a list of places to visit to get the information. Otherwise it would just be wondering around.

Hadley laughed as Caroline invited the new staff member over. She nodded and waved them over, too, because nobody should feel excluded. Hey, the boss was there talking with them so it was only fitting they come and join in too.

Thomas looked up as someone invited him over somewhere. So he would take the offer. "Ok. I'll be over in a minute. Let me just unpack some other stuff that I might need." Thomas said to the person. He looked back into his pack, and pulled out his wand. It was engraved with a dragon head on the top. He was thinking about having the dragon head breathing fire for an engraving. He would have to do that sometime later like after work.

He got up from his cubicle to see where he was being invited to because someone waved him over as well. Then he walked over to where they were. He looked at everyone and said "Hello I'm Thomas Jones. I'm so happy to become a new edition to this department."

Caroline smiled at how eager Hadley became at the sound of the founder as a ghost. She said Yes, shes been around since Hogwarts was founded, actually she attended Hogwarts...I was in her house as well! She thought for a moment about her name and said Oh yes, her name is Lydia Gentala!
Caroline smirked and said Okay... She smiled as he walked over and she said Thats great to hear. I am Caroline Nightingale, I am the Gringotts Liason. Glancing at the others surley they would want to introduce themselves...

"Nice to meet you Caroline. I am a Junior Dragon Reasearcher. I was suprised when I was offered Junior Dragon Reasearcher, but I'm happy about it. I thought I would get something lower." Thomas replied to Caroline. He looked at her glancing at the other people.

Hello my Name is Scarlett Black she smiled.your seem awfully happy about the new job.So i am i she smiled.

Atticus listened intently as Hadley explained more about her book, quickly becoming even more interested in it. He wasn't really one to read if he could help it, but when he did decide to pick up a book, it was usually about some kind of creature - whether beast, being, or spirit - and this certainly sounded like something he actually wouldn't mind reading. "Sounds very interesting," he said with a genuine smile. "I wish you the best of luck with it. If I can help with anything, let me know."

He gave a polite nod to Caroline as she thanked him and then turned his attention to the person she was inviting over. Ah, one of his new employees. Atticus offered him a polite smile as he came over to their group. "And we're happy to have you here, Mr. Jones," he replied. It was always nice seeing others who were as excited to work with creatures as he was. "I'm Atticus Aldredge." He extended his hand.

And then, as Caroline and Thomas conversed, another one Atticus recognized as a new employee approached them. She, too, appeared just as happy to be here. "It's a pleasure to have you here as well, Ms. Black," Atticus replied, extending a hand to her as well. "I'm Atticus Aldredge."
