Closet? What closet? Where's the door?
The Level 4 Maintenance Closet is hidden behind a portrait of the large man in charge.
If he's in his portrait, though often he is not, be on your best behavior. If you have an important enough reason to be here, the portrait will open up and give you entrance to the closet.
We don't know what is inside. None of us have been important enough to get in. Good luck.

Simon had been searching for those missing cushions for a while now, making his way through the various levels of the ministry. The young man trying for random places rather then those one might expect so that he didn't risk covering areas that could have already been searched. At some point he had come to the fourth floor, taking note of the creatures and environmental departments that shared the space. Walking down one of the corridors, he came to a large portrait of the removed minister of magic.
"Hmm...somebody missed removing that," he mused aloud to no one in particular. To his surprise the portrait moved to reveal a room behind it, causing him to raise a curious eyebrow as he moved closer to investigate. What in Merlin's Beard?! Simon stepped inside the room, or rather closet at it appeared to be when he had gotten a closer look at the room's contents. Maybe those errant cushions where around here somewhere. The YATI gave the closet a good look around, manuevering around things both expected and unexpected like a random broken statue only to find nothing that even closely resembled cushions.
"Guess Borr wasn't hoarding them," he added before shaking his head and turning around to leave the storage closet.

This was easily Aspen Odessa's favorite "hang out" in the Ministry. She often ate eggrolls in the presence of her Uncle Bert.
TODAY she had invited Joao to join her. Her note, sent via paper airplane, might have promised snogs and stuff, but really she just wanted to see him. Eat an eggroll. Hear what he was up to. Make dinner plans. | |

He knew there ought to be a portrait or something, but he didn't know what it looked like and even though he had passed in front of it several times, only later did it occured to him to look at it, then his watch and groan inwardly.
Five minutes late.
Had she eaten all the food? He hoped not, because his stomach was growling loudly enough to announce his appearance. He winced at the sound and approached the portrait only after he was sure the growling ended for a while.
His heart skipped a beat, or several, and his breathing got faster, even though he tried his best to hide it. He was grinning like a fool and he didn't even try to look otherwise.
"Great spot to meet," he commented as he wrapped his arms around her waist. A training auror and Minister's personal assistant probably shouldn't do PDA, but his brain only vaguely registered that. There wasn't any public here, and he... needed the 'DA' part. | |

"Neves." Pause. Pause... pausing...... and then she grinned, unable to keep from it. For one weird moment, Joao reminded her of West. "Most people don't come here. Something about the memory of Uncle Bert giving them hives." Aspen shrugged, gave Mr. Neves All Important Minister's Assistant a little hug, then offered him an eggroll from her carton.
"I stole these."
As Aspen often did. In fact, she never packed her own lunch for work. It was just ENTIRELY too much fun and laughs to steal the lunch of her coworkers. | |
