Question: What movies/songs have you seen/listened to that are your favorites of Vanessa Hudgens?

I haven't seen Bandslam yet but I have seen High School Musical 1-3. She is an amazing actress and Gabriella Montez wouldn't be the same if someone else was playing her. Vanessa actually went for the role of Sharpay and Ashley Tisdale went for the role of Gabriella but they got each others role's. As for her songs, I haven't heard many but what songs I have heard of hers are amazing. Sneaker Night is my fave at the moment.

I've heard that Bandslam was really good though, so once it's out on DVD I might buy it.

I don't think I can imagine someone else playing the role of Gabriella Montez.
I wonder what might have caught Vanessa's attention for the movie, High School Musical.

Yeah I heard that before.
If they did get each others roles I couldn't imagine Vanessa being someone that mean.
Then again it would be pretty cool to see Vanessa play a role of a character who is mean.
She has a new movie coming out called Beastly. I think this year is when it comes out into theaters.
&& She might be mean in that movie but I'm not sure.

Yeah, she hasn't done a lot of songs, I think she needs to come out with another new album.
Yeah my favorite song of hers has probably got to be Say Ok.

I totally agree. I can't wait for Bandslam to come out on DVD. I have the entire box set of High School Musical. Vanessa isn't as closed up as she is as Gabriella but I can;t imagine her playing an evil charrie.

I watch High School Musical every now and then, but I haven't for a while.
It might be a good twist to see Vanessa play an evil character seeming as she always plays a nice character.
I'm not sure, we'll just have to see.

I think she's okay.
I don't like all the Disney Stars very much (especially Miley Cyrus) but she was good in High School Musical and looked cute.
However I don't like her other songs.

Like I said before; Beastly is another movie that she will be in and I think it's coming out this year.
I'm hoping it will be better than the High School Musical movies she's in.

I doubt that it will come out in Germany.
Bandslam wasn't in the theaters too because it was not successful enough in the USA or something like that.

That's true, I was just about to re-edit my last post thinking of that.

Oh, yay! A Vanessa Hudgens thread! I'm a big fan of all three High School Musical movies. I just enjoy musicals period, but I think the HSM movies are really fun! I used Vanessa for my very first SS charrie, Anna Greingoth. I really miss using Vanessa for a charrie and may try and use her again someday for...something, lol. I guess I could throw her into a KA roleplay.

Bandslam was a really good movie! Most people look at it and think it's going to be a silly little kid's movie, but it actually had a really good plot. My mom's even a fan. It comes out March 16, and I'm definitely buying it.

What I find amusing about the role of Gabriella is that it was originally offered to Degrassi star, Cassie Steele. The role of Troy was originally offered to Matthew Underwood from Zoey 101. When I first read that, I just couldn't imagine someone else in those roles other than Vanessa and Zac.

Speaking of Miley Cyrus, am I the only one who took forever to figure out she's the girl in the yellow dress at the end of HSM 2?

I read she was in the movie in a magazine. So I watched it again but didn't recognize her.

Yea when I first saw the trailer come out, I wasn't that interested because it seemed really kiddy. (That's probably not a word. ) Although I heard it was really good from my friends but I never got to see it yet in theaters.

Well I'm such a huge Vanessa Hudgens fan that when they (Disney) said HSM 2 was coming out there was going to be a poll on the website to have a celebrity be in the movie.

I think the choices were Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and two others.

--I don't remember who I picked though.

Yeah, I had to re-watch HSM 2 just to find where she would be at.
Of course in the end with the co-choreographer of the movie. xDD
