Kerry is a wonderful singer and actress. She has appeared in the London productions of several musicals. She has starred as Fantine in Les Miserables, Meat in We Will Rock You, and Elphaba in Wicked. She has also been second understudy as Eliza Dolittle in My Fair lady and understudy in Magic of the Musicals. Below, I will briefly describe what she did in the three most famous of the musicals she has starred in: We Will Rock you, Les Miserables, and Wicked.
We Will Rock You
In 2002, Kerry played the role of Meat in the original London production of We Will Rock You. She kept the role for two years, until Jenna Lee-James took over in 2004. Kerry then moved on to Miss Saigon, and then to Les Miserables.
Les Miserables
On June 7, 2005, Kerry joined the cast of Les Miserables, portraying Fantine. She kept the role until she moved on to Wicked.
Wicked
When Idina Menzel left the West End production of the musical Wicked in 2007, Kerry Ellis took over. She starred as Elphaba until June 17, 2008, when she moved to the Broadway production of Wicked, replacing Stephanie J. Block. She will transfer back to London on November 20, 2008.
Anyway, Kerry is an amazing singer. I have never had a chance to see her preform live anywhere, but I have seen clips of her via Youtube.
Is there anyone out there who is a fan of Kerry or has seen her perform anywhere?

I knew about the mucical first but didn't actually see it because Londons so far away from where I live, but I became obssessed with the songs and the cast and I've watched loads of it on Youtube and stuff.
So I decided to read the book and I was really shocked at how different and how much more adult it was! | |
