To be honest, I have no favourite genre. I listen to a little of everything, and I like quality music, quality being good lyrics and good sound. I tend to stay away from songs that have a lot of profanity, and reaaally dislike music that gets popular just because it's controversial or catchy, even though the singer[s] can't sing. *eyes all such artistes*

I sometimes [okay, often] listen to songs just because the title catches my fancy or I come across a bit of the lyrics and find them brilliant, and can honestly say that I listened to Hood, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, Múm, Esmerine, Set Fire to Flames, Red Sparowes and Owl City [and the list goes onnnn xD] the first time only because I came across some gorgeous song titles/ lyrics.
