I applaud Dan for this. The only problem I have is that bullying is starting younger and younger. I know this for a fact because my 9yr old was bullied in kindergarten by her own cousins. She was afraid to tell us because she didn't think we'd believe her. After we took care of that situation, everything was fine, until we moved her to a new school in 2nd grade. There is a girl that is the same age as her and is constantly calling her names and making fun of her. It was only in school until she got into trouble for it, but has recently started up since she knows where we live. My oldest daughter is very tall for her age and slightly overweight. Looking at her you'd think she was close to being in middle school. She's very shy and very gentle. She's a prime target because of that. I hope and pray that in all this something gets done for the younger children too because they won't tell you...they hide it...then it grows into what happened to these unfortunate souls. It's so terrible how children treat those that are different...
