It was a nice introduction, very creative. The Dursleys were annoying and I agree, I found their treatment of Harry overdone. When I first read it, I also found it a little odd that Harry managed to get through all the traps and then trump Quirrell/Voldemort. I liked how Snape ended being the "good guy" in the end. Nice bit of foreshadowing it turned out to be.
