Hey everyone !
Hope you like this next chapter, I already have the next one laid out because there is so much going to happen. This chapter really is a filler, one that had to be done to keep the story going, I still love it Mostly for the dialogue!! You guys never fail to comment , so keep them coming!

Chapter 9
Ella lay in bed; She turned to her side, and then laid on her back and then to her stomach, till she couldn’t take it no longer.
She got up, pulled her robe over her shoulders, and walked out of the dormitory.
She stood in front of the door pacing.
I could get into a lot of trouble, but I need to talk to him Ella thought to herself.
Before thinking anymore, she grabbed the door knob and turned it, trying to be as quiet as possible.
The boy’s room, smelled, well like boys. It wasn’t as tidy as the girls, but it looked similar.
Ron, snored the loudest, and his large feet could be seen coming out of the bed.
Ella giggled.
Finally she spotted where Harry was, it was easy to find because his round glasses were on the nightstand beside the bed.
Ella walked over to where he was sleeping, pulled the curtain back and there he was. He was dreaming she thought. A horrible dream. From Head to toe, Harry was covered in sweat and his hand was clenching his scar. He didn’t look like some hero who saved the wizarding world. He looked innocent and scared.
“Harry… Harry …. Harry wake up, it is me Ella.” Ella spoke softly and shook his arm.”
Then all of a sudden his eyes opened. Ella just stared. He stared
He blinked, she blinked.
Then it hit him.
Awe! He jumped back into his head board
“Shhhhh!!!! , remember that talk I wanted ?”
Harry shook his head apparently coming back to reality.
“Well, I want to talk now!”
They walked down to the common room, where the fire dimly lit the spacious room.
“Ok, now I cant sleep , over this Sirius Black man, please explain your relation to him and why he is always in the prophet and why he murdered people!! ” Ella’s heart was racing , and as she spoke she gradually got louder .
Harry told her everything, he started from the beginning of his third year at Hogwarts, and ended with telling her Sirius was innocent.
“I wonder how my sister met him”
“Yeah, since he is supposed to be in hiding.” “ Lupin, is not going to believe this.”
“Is he attractive?”
“Why would I know that??”
Harry had a smirk on his face.
Ella gave Harry a look.
“ Well, he was in Azkaban for quite sometime, but clean him up and yeah he is decent looking.”
“What does your sister look like?”
“I will show you, stay here.”
Ella ran to her nightstand and pulled out a picture of all her sisters.
“Ok, this is Jenny, Angela, and Lisa and of course me on the end.”
“You guys are very pretty.”
“Thanks Harry.”
“Sirius Is a lucky guy, Harry said staring at Jenny’s picture.”
“That he is .”
“Ella, do you talk to Cho Chang.”
“Once or twice, she is a nice girl”
“Yeah she is…”
Ella looked at Harry in suspicion
“Any more questions, because no offense but I would like to sleep for a few more hours.” Harry laughed.
“Harry, one more thing what do you dream about?” Ella said.
“Loads of stuff.” Harry spoke as he walked away.
Ella sat in the armchair twirling her hair.
“Sirius, will be a good brother.” Harry said turning around.
“Thanks , Harry, good night”
Ella waited a few minutes then tiptoed back into bed.
She curled up to her blanket and fell into a deep slumber…

“Hermione, I understand why you want to liberate them, but I have said this many times, The elves love working, they are obsessed with it.”
“If they were being forced into labor, I would be the first one to pledge to S.P.E.W.” Ella felt bad for Hermione. But she wasn’t going to budge on her stance.
“Fine, but Harry needs help doing summoning charms, so could you help?”
“Sure”
They headed down to the library trying to figure out how to help Harry.
“Hermione, what is up with Viktor following you around?”
“I don’t know, it gets annoying.”
Ella laughed. “ Once you get past the beak nose , he isn’t that bad.” “ Oh please stop!” Hermione couldn’t help but blush.
They met harry at the library.
“I cant believe you are up against dragons!” Ella was in shock.
“Shhhh…. I know I know, please make me even more nervous.” Harry wasn’t joking around.
“So Sirius and your sister, wow.” Hermione said as she picked up a few books.
“I know, I’m going to send her a letter here soon.” “I want the details.”
They proceeded to look through what seemed like every book in the library.
“I think I got it.” Hermione said
“But you are going to need a lot of practice, and I’m not missing class.”
“Just practice during Lunch and Dinner.” “I will bring you guys food.”
“ Good idea , Ella!”

“Harry , you almost have it concentrate , really hard.”
“I’m trying.”
“Take a break, and drink some tea.”
Hermione set the tea down, and patted Harry’s shoulder.
They kept it going, until Harry finally seemed like he got the hang of it.
“Well its two am , and I’m beat.” Ella glanced at her watch and gathered her things and headed to bed.

The next day, Everyone was excited for the task.
The hall was filled with whispers, and it seemed like not only were the Hogwarts students were excited, but Beaxbaton’s and Durmstrang were excited too .
When Chauncey dropped off Ella’s letters , she hoped one of them was Jenny’s.
Dear Ella,
Do you need money for Hogsmead? Please write.
-Mom and Dad.
“Love you too mom and dad.” Ella rolled her eyes.
Dear Ella,
It’s Jenny, I will be with Rita Sweeter during the first task.
Tell your friends I am sorry about the article she wrote. She is a horrible person. I hope to meet your friends and see my little sister.
-Jenny.
Ella’s excitement grew.
Ella followed Ron out to the bleachers where the task would be.
“Ron ,I haven’t talked to you in awhile!”
Ella grabbed his arm, bracing herself to climb up to where the other Gryffindor students were.
Ron just gave Ella a half grin.
“Fred and George” Ella smiled at the twins.
“Ella, our fine potion master.”
“What do you two want?” Ella said laughing.
“We might need your help, here is a list of , lets just say stuff, we need to know how to make it.”
“Puking pasties?” Ella gave the twins, an evil look. “I will see what I can do.”
“You don’t have to do anything if you don’t want too.” Ron reassured her.
“It is not that big of a deal , Ron.” Ella patted his back.
Ella spotted Hermione coming from the champion’s tent.
“That Rita Skeeter, is something.”
Ella laughed.
“My sister cant stand her”
“Oh , that reminds me , Harry was talking to a reporter who looked just like you!” “She is so pretty.” “Is that Jenny?”
“YES!!” Ella got really excited.
“Harry would not speak to Rita, but him and Jenny seemed to be talking quite a bit.”
After a few minutes of catching up with her friends, Ella spotted Draco Malfoy staring at her.
“ I’m sick of him!!” Ella got up and walked to where the Slytherins were sitting.
“Listen, Stop staring at me!”
“Look my friends, she likes me.” Draco said with an evil grin.
“I don’t like you.”
“Then why did you walk all the way over here to tell me not to look at your pretty face.”
“OK, just stop Draco .” Ella began to walk away when Malfoy grabbed her hand.
“I love it when you call me Draco.” He kissed her hand and in disgust Ella turned away and walked back to her seat.
She heard Draco and Grabbe whistling at her.
“Immature, the lot of them” Hermione whispered to Ella.
“I know, he thinks I like him.”
“Ewww.” Hermione made a face like she had something sour in her mouth.
“Tell me about it!”
When Dumbledore spoke the directions, of the task Ella though her heart was going to beat out of her chest. As he stated the rules and who would be going first, Ella felt someone tug at her sweater.
“Ella, get down here , its me!”
Ella looked down to see Jenny.
“What are you doing under the bleachers!”
“We need to talk!”
“Well, I have to watch Harry.”
“So do I.” Jenny looked at Ella in a stern way.
Ella hugged her sister.
“When , where , and why.”
“And make it fast.”
“Ok, I met him by accident, I was taking out the trash, and this dog was eating something.”
“I shooed him away, but when the dog looked at me , I knew.”
“Knew what?”
“He wasn’t a dog.”
“ I then told the black dog , that I knew he was a human and if he was hungry I had food in the living room.”
“He seemed apprehensive, and he actually shook his head no.”
“See I forgot he would need clothing.”
“ So I told him to stay, then I got him a blanket to cover himself.”
“I looked away and there he was.”
“Did you know it was Sirius.” Ella was trying to be quiet, but the screams of the crowd and the sounds the dragon was making were too much for her voice.
“I work for the prophet, so yeah I knew.”
“So you still invited him in????”
“Yes, he was handsome, and kind and Oh Ella, I’m in love.”
“Wow, Jenny your something else.” Ella shook her head.
“I’ve never seen you like this!”
“After Christmas sometime , There will be a small ceremony.”
“ Be ready to here an owl from me.”
“HARRY POTTER!”
“I got to go!” Ella yelled.
“Harry is a nice kid, alright go I love you.”
They hugged and Ella ran back to her seat.
“ GO HARRY!” Ella screamed
Harry summoned his broom and dipped and dived away from the dragon. A lot of ooh and awes were heard throughout the crowd. It felt like Hermione and Ella were holding their breath. When Harry finally got the egg.
All the Gryffindor’s were screaming.
Ella looked over and saw Ron smiling; She nudged him and smiled back.
Hermione was jumping up and down screaming cheers for Harry.
Ella grabbed Hermione and they snuck down to see Harry and cheer him on.
Harry smiled at the sight of them.
“Congratulation’s Harry!!!”
“Are you hurt!!!” Hermione ran to examine where the blood was.
“I’m fine.” Harry said shaking her of him.
“Hey mate, You would have to be mad to put your name in the Goblet of fire!”
“I’m sorry.”
“Boys.” Hermione whispered to Ella and they laughed.
After Ludo Bagman told Harry and the rest of the champions, when the next task was and that the egg was a clue, Harry , Hermione , Ron and Ella walked back to the castle.
“Harry Potter, care to comment on the task??” Rita Skeeter, was running up to them,
“He has nothing to say to you.” Ella said slyly to Rita.
“Could it be , Ella Greene younger sister, to Jennifer Greene, our little column writer?”
“Yes , she is here now, studying under me.”
“You are a liar.”
“ No, I’m a reporter.”
“And you my dear just might make the profit, I believe I captured a tender moment between you and Mr. Malfoy.”
“ You wouldn’t!”
“ I will.”
Rita turned around and walked off.
Ella walked back to the castle, feeling gloomy.
“My parents read the prophet.”
“I’m done for.”
“Well she wrote me and Hermione were in love.” Harry said hoping to reassure Ella.
“I would rather she wrote that I was in love with Neville then Malfoy.”
Luckily for Ella, The common room was one big party.
Ella laughed the entire night, forgetting what Rita had said.
One of the twins brought out their radio and everyone began dancing
“George, my dear come dance with me!” Ella said bowing and giggling. George got up and they began to dance
“ You seem happy” George whispered to Ella.
“I am!”
“My turn!” The usual shy Neville grabbed Ella’s hand and they began to dance.
Ella looked over and saw Harry smiling big and Hermione sitting with Ron smiling.
She twirled and twirled until Rita Skeeter and Draco was out of her mind. |
