Chapter 2 Ginny’s POV (Point Of View)
“I’m so glad you’re home, Harry!” I told him, ecstatic.
“Me too! I’ve missed you, Ginny!” Harry told, flashing me a smile.
“Not as much as I have, love. Come, let’s unpack.” I told him, grabbing his arm and pulling him to the bags. He stayed still, not moving.
“The bags can unpack themselves.” He smiled, and with a flick of his wand, the bags did just that. He looked around. He frowned. “Ginny, what happened here?”
I suppose he was talking about the fact that there were piles of ice cream cartons in the trashcan. I was so excited about Harry coming that I…well, forgot about everything else.
“I got hungry.” I batted my eyelashes and smiled innocently. Harry wasn’t mad, he just rolled his eyes and smiled.
“I love you, Ginny.” He said, giving me a warm hug. I looked into his beautiful green eyes and felt my heart flutter.
“I love you more.”
******** ************** *********** ************ Harry’s POV
“Harry, I’m so glad you’re back, mate. Ginny’s gone mad.” Ron looked over his shoulder. “Literally.” He said with a serious expression. I couldn’t help but laugh. It was my second day back and he and I went to the burrow. Everyone was there.
Ginny, Hermione, and a few others were in the kitchen making dinner, Ron and I where doing anything BUT being productive. And here was Ron telling me that my wife is mad. I laughed and looked at him.
“What are you talking about, Ron?” I asked him. He shushed me.
“You’re too loud. They’ll hear you!” He told me, whispering. “Woman. Anything you say and they’ll take it as an insult!”
I was starting to think that it was Ron that was mad instead of Ginny. I put a hand on his shoulder and looked at him with the most serious expression I could muster, which wasn’t easy. This was Ron we were talking about!
“Ron, don’t take this the wrong way… I mean, you’ve been my best friend for a long time. But…I think you’re losing it.” I told him, my mouth twitching slightly.
“No, Harry. I’m serious. There was this time while you were gone, we went out to dinner, I told her that her clothes were looking a little bit…tight, and she instantly blew up on me!” He said. “She made a whole scene. She went crazy.”
“You should know better than to say something like that to any girl, especially her.” I told him. Sometimes Ron was so clueless.
“Whatever mate. But here’s a little advice, don’t comment on anything except for the weather if you don’t want you head blown off.” He told me. I rolled my eyes. Our conversation ended when we heard Ginny call both our names into the kitchen.
“Speaking of the devil.” Ron muttered under his breath. We took our time walking back inside the house, but Ginny wasn’t so patient. And it killed me to say it, but…Ron was right.
