Chapter 8:Speechless


JESS'S POV

It had been weeks since the threat. Everything seemed too be going back to normal,but I still kept my guard up. So the most cliche thing is happening at Hogwarts. There is going too be a ball. Only it has a cool spin on it. It is going to be based on Muggle Fairytales. Of course Pansy would be going as Jasmine,just so she can wear a two piece dress,which to me isn't very attractive. But she could probably pull it off.

I feel weird,because I'm going as Cinderella. No one else dared go near Cinderella,seeing as if you mess up. You will be laughed at. She is a tricky character,but I think I know what dress I'm going to wear. It is white,and strapless. It poofs out at the waist,just like a regular princess dress. And boy do I feel like a princess in it. Draco refuses to show me his outfit. It is what he calls, "Totally barbaric!"he thinks Prince Charming is conceited,I tell him to look in the mirror when he says that.

I'm very nervous for this ball,because I know Pansy will start something,as per usual. The little brat will probably have a Versachi dress on,little prada shoes. Some Vera Wang jewelry,and all the biggest designers. Yes,she will look like plastic little barbie dolls,you can just tell.

Well anyway,I'm guessing the headmaster is doing this ball thing,for a sort of wizarding prom. What with the theme and all?It's too cliche for my taste,because my life,is so not cliche. The ball is tonight. Christmas Eve night. Can I say cliche again?

I got my hair done,into perfect girls that balanced just perfectly on my shoulders. The dress went on me,with a little help from my best friend named Magic. It fit like a glove. I walked down the steps,my glass slippers clanking on the stone. I saw a pair of shoes,and knew they must be Draco's. I finally got to the bottom of the steps,and saw him. He looked well,all decked out in a back,tuxedo,with the whole prince charming sort of suit.He matched me perfectly. I saw his eyes widen at the sight of me. And I put a triumphant grin on.

Draco's POV

It was like I got punched. She looked,Wow. I barley got the words out,"Y-you loo-kk ab-so-solutely amazing."I said stuttering like an idiot. I silently scolded myself. This made her laugh. I hid my nervousness. I put my hands in my pockets,"So what do you think?"i asked her,boasting at how I looked.

I wrote down,"I am speechless."
