Destiny was relieved when she found out they were going to brew the hair growing potion. It was bad enough being tied to Marie and she didn't want to be bald AND tied to Marie.
Marie..Destiny wished she would stay bald though. Make this rope curse more amusing. Marie could be like Destiny's bald little kruppie walking on a leash..heehee.
Destiny quickly took out parchment and quill and wrote down the ingredients. She really hoped they weren't going to need to wear goggles in this class, since they were the reason she was in trouble last class. She was sure seeing Evelyn wearing goggles while bald would make her laugh even worse.
Finally finished with the notes, she ran a hand over her bald head while she waited for what to do.
Ingredients! That's what they had to do now! Pulling Marie with her, she grabbed the things she was going to need. It was a lot of stuff too, and she thought she would need to make two trips. Luckily she managed with one, and she was glad. She didn't want Marie to complain..some more. When she made it back to her station, she placed all her supplies down.
As she waited for the next set of directions, she once again ran a hand over her head. Heh. She should have taken that aloe glop from Herbology class. It would have come in handy right about now...It would probably make her head cold though..or flammable. O___o
Hearing the next step, she immediately pulled out her wand. Her cauldron was already clean since the Professor had done it for her last class, sooo that meant she could start her hair potion! Placing the cauldron on the burner, she poured the gallon of pumpkin juice inside and cast a quick "Incendio!".
That spell..
Waiting for the pumpkin juice to simmer, she moved closer to Evelyn and whispered, "Make sure your books are away from your fire..the fire that you are NOT allowed to light!" There was no way she was going to let Evelyn cast that spell..not after what happened last class. "Incendio." she said pointing her wand at the bottom of her friends cauldron.
Everyone was safe..for now.
Marie had barely finished writing the ingredients in her journal when she was being dragged off to the supply closet by Destiny. Darn that blasted rope. "Gee Destiny, you could at least warn me when you're going to get up and move like that." Luckily she had grabbed her journal so she would know what ingredients she needed to get. There were a lot of ingredients they needed so she was just going to use her journal as a tray to carry most of them. The rest she would carry in her other hand. The journal would be in her left hand since that was the arm that did NOT have the rope tied to it. She did NOT want Destiny pulling on her arm and making her drop everything.
As they got near their table Marie decided she didn't want to sit with Destiny anymore. They may be bound together but that didn't mean they had to work together. There was plenty of rope between them for her to sit at the next table. She placed her ingredients on Carter's table as they passed. She then went back over to the table she had been sitting at (which was next to him) and gathered the rest of her things. She quickly and quietly got her work station set back up so she could get this pottion brewing. She wanted her hair back NOW. She did not like being bald Marie.
Once she had all the ingredients lined up in front of her she looked over her cauldron to make sure it was clean. She did not want anything to go wrong with this potion so she cleaned the already clean cauldron again. Once she did that she poured the gallon of pumpkin juice in it. "Incendio" she said as she pointed her wand under the cauldron. She adjusted the height of the fire so the pumpkin juice would not boil but instead come to a simmer. She then grabbed her quill and updated her journal while she waited for further instructions.
Finally they were on to the next step. She took the wooden spoon out of her kit and carefully put the icky mucus on it and stirred it into the pumpkin juice. Once it was well mixed she updated her journal once again. As she walked around the class she paused at the sight of the two students tied together... She stared at them for a moment and then realized she was at Hogwarts... "Carry on..." she said and continued walking. SPOILER!!: pets the good babies Quote:

Potions Lesson II
A great potioneer by the name of Ceasar Auricomus had studied and researched male and female baldness; eventually came up with this cure. Capillatum Potion
1 gallon pumpkin juice
4 oz Flobberworm mucus
8 drops of Lavender essence
1 cup Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)
5 Mandrake leaves (adult plant)
6 spoons Honey
12 Fluxweed leaves
1 sprig of Peppermint
1 drop of Re'em blood
3 Knotgrass blossoms
3 Rat tails
10 drops of Saw Palmetto extract
2 oz Zinc Preparation: - make sure workstation is clean
- Check if cauldron is clean
Steps:
I. Add Pumpkin juice.
II. Ignite the fire.
III. Bring to a simmer.
IV. Add Mucus with wooden spoon
V. Stir into the juice

Somehow managing not to roll her eyes at the smirk on Professor Lafay's voice, and in the woman's tones, Gold picked up a wooden spoon, and used it to ladle the flobberworm mucus into the juice. Which she then proceeded to stir, ensuring she did not touch it with her hands. Somewhat because of Professor Lafay's words, but mostly because she didn't want to get sticky, gooey stuff on her pretty and clean hands.
Because cleanliness is GOOD.

But, it had to go into the potion. Waiting for her potion to actually make it to the low simmer, when it finally did, she slowly used the wooden spoon to put the mucus into the pumpkin juice before stirring it.
Okay, gross part down. Well at least from the list, that was the one that seemed the most gross. And hopefully, she was right.
Using her other hand to stir, Evelyn picked her quill back up again and quickly jotted down the next steps in her notebook, making sure she didn't over stir the mixture at the same time. Quote:

Ellie quietly took her wooden spoon. She evanesco'd anything that may be on that also. She was taking no chances. And she scooped the mucus with it, and stirred all that ickyness into the yumminess of the pumpkin juice. Some potion.
This was going quite well... she should shave them at every class... Though... something was missing...
"Step three. Drops of Lavender. And what do you have to do when dropping lavender in a hot cauldron?" She asked.
