Daphne made her way into the coffee room. She barely stayed awake during her meeting with the editors, and she needed some urgent caffeine. Eyes half close, she trudged over to the pot of coffee and poured it into her pink mug. She poured ample amounts of sugar and milk into her cup and took a seat at the table. She picked up a stray fashion magazine and gingerly sipped her morning drink.

She was startled to hear someone sitting near her. She had assumed she was all alone, and jumped as she heard a strange rumbling noise, presumably the other person's stomach. "Oh!" she gasped, almost spilling her coffee over her brand new lilac robes. "You frightened me, I didn't see you!" She looked at the man and after deciding she definitely hadn't seen him before, proceeded to introduce herself. "Daphne Jones," she said sweetly, getting up and extending her right hand. "I'm editor of the Sports section here."
