CHAPTER 11

"I caught them red handed.." Blah blah blah "...They were kissing!!" Blah blah blah "That Mudbloo.."

Draco whipped round to face Pansy, his face angry

"Dont you dare call Hermione a mudblood" He spat at her.

He was annoyed with her stories, he could tell she was making them up. He stood and walked away

"You'll be sorry you picked her over me" Pansy called after him, some students turned from there conversations to stare at her.

Draco ignored her and walked out, away. He sighed, she wouldnt do that, would she? He asked himself sitting down on the damp grass outside the school. The low-set sun was shiny its rays across the lawn, birds were flying high over the forbbiden forest. Seeing them Draco automaticlly though of the first time he had gone in there, his first year. He had wanted to get the trio into trouble, whilse accidently landing himself in it too. He hadnt liked Hermione then, he couldnt think why.

"Hey" Someone said quitely behind him. Hermione sat down next to him, pulling her legs to her chest, laying her head on her legs. She began to pull little grass shreads from the ground, while not looking at Draco.

"Hey, you ok?" He asked, slightly concerned, moving a little closer to her.

"We have to talk Draco" She replyed quitely, finally looking at him, he stopped in his tracks.

"If its about that rumour Pansy is trying to tell me, well i dont believe it!"

Hermione's eyes looked less troubled, but she spoke

"It-it wasn't a lie, it-it did happen. And-and Pansy did catch us..." She gulped before rushing into her next sentence,

"I didnt want it to happen, he just kissed me, i-i couldnt...I-i didn't..." she was unable to finish her sentence, tears wer running down her cheeks, she gave a small sob.

Draco pulled her into his arms, and cradled her, "Its ok Hermione" Was all he said.

"Arnt you mad? Arnt you going to finish it"

More tears fell from her eyes, she quickly whipped them away and stood up. Looking at him once she ran back towards the castle.

"I would never" Draco replyed watching her go, he didnt shout it, he didnt run after her. He too put his head in his lap and watched the grass again, thinking.

"Draco, i wasn't lieing you know" Pansy purred in his ear, sitting down next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. He pulled away, standing up.

"Leave me alone" Pansy stood.

"Draco when are you going to see that she's nothing, that its destiny for us to be together" She breathed in his ear

"Leave me alone Pansy, we were never anything, and we never will"

Pansy smiled smugly,

"Do you want me to tell your father about your lovely little thing with a mudblood?"

"Leave her alone"

His mind was racing, what his father might do to him if he found out, what he'd do to Hermione. He shivered.

"Think it over, i know your choose the right person"

She kissed him lightly on the cheek and walked away. He fell to the floor, tears in his eyes, he couldnt let anything happen to her, he loved her. There was only one thing he needed to do, end it.
