No, no, no. He was not depressed. He didn't CARE what his dad thought about him. Or his family, because they didn't need him. The man obviously hated them. So why should he, Cody, care?
He heard a knock, opening it to reveal his girlfriend Delanie. "DEE!"
She hugged him, but appeared to be concerned. "What's this about depression?"
His face hardened and he went back to his place, "I'm not depressed. Just thinking."
She slowly followed, sitting behind him. "About?"
"Him." Of course she understood what that meant. Dee rested her head on Cody's shoulder.
"I'll share my dad."
