Ferris gave a weak smile as the girl traded seats with him, his brows furrowing just slightly as she expressed her slight surprise that her turn was already up. "I'm afraid so, Vi," the boy replied, taking what was her seat just moments before. He watched his girlfriend for a moment, brown eyes a little wary; he didn't want her going through pain like he had to. But he knew there wasn't much changing Vianna's mind at this point, and so he took her hand gently into his own and intwined their fingers. The boy kissed the back of her hand a couple times, flashing her a small smile before the man asked him something in French. "Oui," he replied with a nod before turning back to Vianna. "He wants you to take off your shoe," Ferris explained, "And then you'll have to put your foot up so he can get to it....Do you want to just put it on my lap?" he asked.
