“Hissss,” Torin muttered as he leaned over the cot. “Hisss hisss hisss.”
That was the sound that snakes made, and he was teaching Tammy all the animals. He had already taught her cow, duck, pig and chicken.
“Hissss.”
“What on earth are you doing?” Brody asked as she walked in the room. Why was he leaning over the crib and hissing? Her boyfriend was so odd.
“I’m telling her that she has the prettiest mummy ever in Parseltongue.”
“You are so weird sometimes, Torin. ”
“Hisssss hissss,” he muttered. “Now I’m telling her that her mummy is also the meanest.”
