“TORIN KANE!” Brody yelled as she approached her idiotic boyfriend. He was taking Gold to the Yule Ball. Did he want to hurt her more?

His girlfriend was on a warpath, and Torin was scared for his very life. “Yes?”

“You're taking Gold to the Yule Ball!” That hurt. She was supposed to be his date. And what about Dylan? Even if he was a jerk.

“But you have OWLs this Term,” he reminded her.

“So does she, you idiot!” Seriously how did he manage to pass last Term if he was so stupid? He was hopeless.

“Oh yeah.”
