"Say 'Mummy'"

"Bllllll" A small drop of spit slowly made its way down the baby's chin.

"Come on, honey, say 'Mummy'!" But there was no reaction from the blonde boy apart from simply gazing up at her with big gray eyes.

With a sigh of defeat, she turned around to leave the room again, beckoning for their house-elf to follow.
They would try again later.

"Mmmmm..."

She stopped half-way through the door and turned on her heels with a surprised smile. "Yeeees?"

"Mmmm..."

"Yes, say 'Mummy'!"

"Mmmmmeee. Me. ME!" GIGGLE!

And that would become Cormac McLaggen's first word.
