CHAPTER 3, PART 2

Hermione looked around as quickly as she could, but he walked up anyway.

"Well Granger, where's Potty and Weaslebee?" Draco asked with a smirk

"Well Obviously they're not here yet!" Draco looked shocked, she just stared at him, not saying anything.

"Fread, George you leave your brother alone" a familiar voice said loudly, getting nearer to where they stood. Hermione looked at Draco, scared. He just smirked.

"We're only looking out for you little Ronnykins" Fred told his mother, as they came into view.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want anything to happen to him" George joined in, he rustled Ron's hair. Ginny goggled.
Roon brushed his brother's hand off in annoyence, a scowl on his face. Hermione could see the tips of his ears go bright red, as her looked in her direction. His face turned up into a large smile as his eyes locked onto her's. He hadn't seen Malfoy. He yelp in joy!

"Hermione, hey Hermione" He all but shouted, running forward to give her a massive hug. Harry, whom she hadnt seen seconds before, running at his heels.

Both boys stopped a few steps away from her, the look of anger on their faces. Both looked at Draco.

"What are you doing here Malfoy" Harry snarled, stepping forward. His hand going to his wand. Ron's did the same.

"The same as you Potty, Weaslebee" Draco replied smirking. By then Fred, George and Ginny had caught them up, there mother had stopped to chat with somone.

"Go away Malfoy" Ron said, taking another stepped forward, his wand noe in his hand.

"Make me" he retorted, also stepping forward. By now both boys were in arms distance. Fred stepped up and stood next to Harry, also glaring at Draco. Pushing Ginny behind him, George followed. Ginny had a annoying look on her face. Everyone was glaring at each other.

Noticing danger, Hermione stepped in between both sides. She spread her arms wide, one hand on Draco's chest and the other on Ron's. She thought, she just knew that Draco would jump back in disgust, she wanted it to happen. But it never came.

"Stop" She said, to both sides, each pointing their wands at the opposite sides, thinking of a spell to use, until she brought them up short, the one word they couldn't resist listening to,

"Please"

She looked at Draco and Ron pleadingly, willing them to see how the fighting would hurt her.

She willed herself to think that she didnt care about Draco, that he's a mean pig! She wanted her to curse him, course him harm. She willed herself to like Ron, and only Ron. SHe couldn't help it, she found herself liking him, her like Draco Malfoy no way!! Where did this come from, she asked herself, her head was confused. Hermione dropped her arms and stepped back, it was easier. Draco looked down at where her hand had been, his face unreadable. He shot her a look, then walked away. He didn't look back. The boys lowered their wands, stowing them into their pockets.

"What was that about?" Ginny asked in a small voice, staring at the place Draco had stood moments before. Hermione looked there too.

"No idea" She replied.
