It was
announced earlier this year that
Half-Blood Prince was nominated for several
Richard Attenborough Film Awards, including the Classic FM Film Music of the Year Award for the film's score, and best film in two UK regional awards.
The winners were announced today, and Nicholas Hooper, composer of
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince's original score
won the Classic FM Film Music of the Year Award; the film itself
received the Alan Titchmarsh show's British film of the year award and best use of UK locations in a film. Hooper was given his award by presenter Simon Bates during a ceremony.
Congratulations to Nicholas and the film for their achievements!
