Of all the days Hermione decided to ignore Ron, she chooses the day his Care of Magical Creatures homework was due. Couldn't she have just waited? How was he supposed to figure out differences between two creatures!?

As he sat and stared at his blank parchment, he thought of the differences between himself and Hermione. Well, for one, she is a girl and he is not. She is smart and he is, well, not.

By the time Hermione decided to talk to him again, Ron had a full parchment full of differences.
