After being
longlisted for seven awards,
Half-Blood Prince has today been
nominated for two gongs at the 2010 BAFTA awards, in the categories of Production Design and Visual Effects. The sixth Potter film faces competition from
Avatar,
District 9,
The Hurt Locker,
Star Trek,
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and
Inglourious Basterds.
The awards will be presented at the
Royal Opera House in London, England on February 21st, with the show airing on BBC1 (a red carpet show will air prior to the coverage, on BBC3).
