HEAVYWEIGHT Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane didn't eat all the pies when he turned up at a pub yesterday - because he knew what the headlines today would say.

Robbie was helping to launch Scotland's first 'play, pint and a pie' theatre project.

But he told pals at the trendy Oran Mor venue in Glasgow there was no way he would pose with a traditional Scotch pie for fear of being ridiculed for his bulky frame.

Robbie, 53, who plays Hagrid in the Potter films, said: 'There's no way I'm having my picture taken with a pie.

'If I did, I just know I'd be reading 'who ate all the pies' in the papers tomorrow.

'I just want to support this project, so I thought I would come along and give it my backing.'

Glasgow Lunchtime Theatre:APlay,A Pie and A Pint, is a series of 12 plays commissioned by producer David MacLennan, from some of the UK's top scriptwriters.
