Evolette jumped when there was suddenly someone standing with her, a boy, a semi familiar boy. She'd not seen him at all last term, she'd been convinced that he had disappeared off of the face of the earth. "Of course." she replied, tilting her head, "I believe this is the part where you say, 'Congratulations'."
Offering the boy a smile, as Muffin tried to reach out and pat his chest, Evolette chuckled. "How have you been?" she asked.
OMG! She had a kitteennnn! How the heck had he not noticed that before? It was just totally cute. Eeep! But that wasn't just the only cute thing around him. Evolette hadn't exactly deteriorated in the last year.. God, as if anything llike that could happen.. It couldn't... Could it?
"Oh.. Yeah, I guess so." Ashton replied his teeth showing quickly as he gave her a short grin,
"Congratulations Miss McKenna." Tilting his head sideways with a curious look in his eyes,
"Was that right?" He added, not being able to stop the grin that came free again.
How had he been? Uhum.. Bogged down.. Adopting a twelve year old girl without meaning to.. Uh.. Yeah, that was about the main of it, but instead of going into the whole Shana business, he simply said,
"Pretty good, can't complain.. Yourself?" Glancing up and down her quickly, he wondered briefly if she would agree to his little plot.
