Chapter 11

"Hey Ron can we head back up to the castle? I'm getting pretty tired and cold." I said shivering.

Ron took off his cloak and put it on me. "Is that better?" He asked with concern in his eyes.

"Oh Ron thank you, but you'll freeze to death! Put it back on please!" I said shaking the coat off of me.

He sighed and took it off of me. He put it back on and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards him as we ran towards Hogwarts. We were laughing as we ran. It felt like we were the two people in the romantic muggle movies. We entered the castle and he dropped my hand to my disappointment. I looked up at him and he frowned noticing my sadness.

"What's the matter 'Mione? I mean Hannah?" Ron asked.

I shook my head and smiled up at him. "Nothing important."

He looked at me one more time, confused but mumbled an "okay."

We were going back to the Great Hall for dinner but a sign posted up on the wall stopped me. It was right by the other sign that said that students were actually going to come back tonight. So I will see the students right when I walk into the Great Hall! Anyways the other sign that stopped me said that a Masquerade Ball was to be held tomorrow so everyone could get to know each other even though they wouldn't know what each other looked like.

I smiled at the thought and turned around walking to the Great Hall. I stepped into the Great Hall seeing the first years scared knowing that they will have to put on the hideous hat and get sorted. I saw Ron wave me over and I smiled. I took a glance at Blaise and Malfoy who scowled at me knowing that I was sitting with the Gryffindors and not them. I shook my head and walked over sitting in between Ron and Harry.
