Viad Henry was in a rotten mood. This campin' thing shoulda bin fun, but the kid was tryin' to ruin it for him. Christian had said Fyo was a good kid, but Viad wasn't so sure - first, the boy had the nerve to bring two of his friends, an' second one of them was a girl Fyo had looked back at more than once durin' the journey.
"ORDER!" he called out loud. "This is a dangerous place, an' none of you are goin' to go wander off by yourselves. Nobody steps down without my permission!" But that Fyo kid had already clambered out of the jeep, an' Viad sighed. "Fyodor! Get back into the -"
But Fyodor was now callin' down his friends. Viad got out of the jeep, his moustache lookin' most forebodin' and eyed the kids carefully. The Torin kid had gotten off too. They had better keep order while he was around. Not that he wanted to ruin their fun - he just didn't want any of them to get hurt, he told himself.
