9:39PM; babies are sleeping, Lissy and Julian just crawled into bed. Or rather, found comfy spots in the living room to lay down and fall asleep. Since Lydia, Katie and Gabriel fell asleep in our 'family room' (the livingroom, same difference) while watching a third movie thingy we decided not to move them. Phineas is getting ready for bed, and going to join them. Madison also fell asleep with the younger kids, Joseph and I are the only ones awake aside from Phi.
Joey is writing a quick letter to Tonya, his friend that I have YET to meet even though she too attends Hogwarts. And I am catching you up on the days events. Mum and dad went out, on a date sort of thing I guess? Haha. They went out to dinner, leaving Joseph, Madi and I incharge as usual.
Our evening was chaotic, the normal. What do you expect with a house full of kids from the ages of seven months to seventeen years old? It was fun though! We all played games, watched movies, and told stories. I hadn't even remembered not only the little kids, but Joey didn't know about how are parents met!
It's kinda a short story, but I'll tell it anyways. You see, my mother has her older brother Adrian, and her two younger sister's Silvia and Grace which is pretty much besides the point; My father is a muggle, he has his older brother Erynn, his older sister Maeva, younger brother Joseph AKA Joey, AKA Bear and lastly, a younger sister Karen. Like himself, his brothers are muggles. However, my dad's sisters are both muggleborns. Uncommon for two to a family, probably, but it happened.
The real point to explaining that is, my aunt Maeva and aunt Karen attended school at the same time my mother did. They were friends, that's how mum knew my dad and that's how they got together.
How Grandma Angelina and Grandpa Carl found eachother is by far, my favorite family story of true love finding it's way. Grandma Angelina, like her own parents, had attended Hogwarts as well. She was a Hufflepuff, a wonderful one at that. One day, out of the blue, she received a letter from a stranger.
The boy explained he didn't personally know her, but a buddy of his said he had a friend who went to Hogwarts who could speak Latin. He had a big essay to complete that was being done on that language, and needed someone to check the words he wrote to be sure they were correct. Otherwise, if he were to fail, he would be in deep trouble. He told her she didn't have to help, after all she didn't even know him, but it would have been greatly appreciated if she could read over it for him.
My grandmother, Angelina, didn't not want to reply. So she wrote back telling him she didn't speak Latin and that he must have gotten the wrong Angie. She did want to help him, though and told him to send the essay over and she would ask the Librarian. Madame Clark and her were really close, considering she was always in the library.
Once Madame Clark had made a small note on a few minor corrections, she sent it back to him. Although she couldn't explain why, she was a little sad the letters would stop now that the young man, Carl Johnson he said his name was, had finished his assignment.
It was twelve days later that same brown owl, Coco, had returned. Angelina was surprised to see the bird, but happily took the letter. He passed the assignment with a high mark, Carl said it was all because of her and he didn't know how to thank her. He said he had gotten help from a stranger, but he didn't want her to be a stranger anymore. So he asked her to write back telling him a little about herself.
Angelina was thrilled. They continued to send letters back and forth from Hogwarts to Durmstrang, telling one another about their lives, their dreams and hopes. Everything and anything. Quidditch was a common interest they shared.
My grandfather was the first to admit with the letters flown back and forth, feelings had formed. He said he wasn't sure how to write it out on parchment, but writing to her made butterflies fly in his stomach. That he didn't know what it was, but he always waited restlessly for her letter. Most importantly, that he thought he was beginning to grow feelings for a girl he had never even met. My grandmother wrote back, telling him she felt the same way.
They continued to write one another for the rest of the school year, and while packing to go home for holiday break a thought struck her. Angelina wanted to meet Carl, face to face. That was a risky idea, she knew. What if he wasn't who he said he was? This is when Angie decided to tell Agatha, one of her very best and truest friends. Agatha was always right when making decisions, like she knew what would happen or something. She encouraged my grandma to go for it, that she would be happy in the end.
One snowy day during december my grandmother had waited anxiously by the window, when she finally saw him he looked scared and lost. Whenever Grandma Angelina tells this tale, she laughs at this part. Of him looking lost, and her racing out to meet him.
She had introduced him to her parents, and they had gone for a walk. After a while they sat in her backyard and talked for ages, and when it had grown quiet - they shared their first kiss. Grandma says that's when she knew she would spend the rest of her life with grandpa.
Cute little story, isn't it?
I have no idea about Nikolas. I know he's been inlove twice, but I don't know how he met either Johanna, his first (teenage) love or how he met his wife, Jasmine.
Emmylyne has been married twice, therefore has loved twice, too. We know those men though. That's a very long story, and here's the short version: Emmy, Benji, Axel, Finnegan and Elissa met at Grandma Angelina's house when Emmy was five, Grandma Angelina had set it up as a play date for the kids. Ever since, the five had been the best of friends.
Benjamin Lawley was her first husband, they dated for about two or three years. Shortly after graduating, they married. All was well, too. Two years later, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl - Lainie Alona Lawley. Benji was an auror, and one day had gone on a mission.. that he never returned from. Okay, not 'never' but it was said he died. It was assumed, because no one ever found him. He was kidnapped by dark wizards, only to escape and come home almost three years later after Axel and Emmylyne had married.
What a huge mess it had been, but now everythings great! Lainie has two sets of parents, and three - going to be four, siblings.
Now who else? Hmm.. Oh, Regina! Ha. Okay she had definitely NOT loved this
guy, but Devon something, a wizard she had gone to school with was her boyfriend for a long while until they broke up soon after she graduated and moved to america with her friend, who happens to be a squib, Graciela. She did find her 'one true love', he's a muggle. Trenton Theodoric, her fiance. Believe it or not, he's pretty cool from what I've learned about him.
And lastly, I suppose we have Conner? That's a story I don't even know. Courtney and Conner are clearly meant for eachother. Or,
were meant for eachother. Maybe we'll come back to that another day..
I better go, it's past ten now and Phineas just turned the lights off and Tobey randomly woke up. Nightynight.
