Like I said I think the muggle hating this was assumed by everyone because of his followers and the house he was in. It was a red herring in my book. He felt like a tortured soul being a half and half? Where in the books did you read that? I never read that. He acted like he didn't exist before he went to Hogwarts. He only went back to kill his father out of pure vengeance, not because he was a muggle.
