Violet made her way down the cedar spiral staircase and down the hall into the entrance corridor. She picked up her coat, which was hanging from a hook on the wall near the door. She raised her wand. "Accio!" she whispered. Her binder full of reports whizzed through the air and she caught it neatly. Violet worked in the Centaur Liasion Offices at the Ministry. "Maura!" she shouted. "I'm off to the office. Remember it's a short day today so I'll be home early." Violet put her coat on and went out the door, twisting her long brown hair into a bun as she walked.
