Yes I think what Luna said referenced the Marauders coming back as ghosts in DH.
Yes the above quote links to Adriana (AD's sister). I think Jo waited until the final book to reveal Dumbledore's story as she wanted to keep the emphasis on Harry as the main character. Also of course, keeping Dumbledore's past was a way of keeping his character mysterious so readers would be intrigued.
