He is truly a Broadway star now, for example I've just read that today:

"the cast of Equus was the top Broadway fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS this year. It was also the first time a non-musical raised the most cash since The Dinner Party in the early 2000s.

Equus was also runner-up for the Best Stage Presentation, with the cast performing a parody musical version of the show which included Dan performing a kick line with the show's horses."

Dan even wrote a song for this show, danced and sang. All that to help this fundraiser, he is great, I think deserves all these awards.
