Sad Evening
I arrived at my local Border's bookstore around 9 pm in order to get The Tales of Beedle the Bard. By the time someone else had showed up to purchase a copy as well, they only had to wait 15 minutes!
This woman and I began discussing why there wasn't any more people there. We came up with 3 possible theories:
1) It's a school night.
2) People were going to wait until the last possible second before they came to purchase the book.
3) Twilight is more popular.
At one point we began discussing the Harry Potter theme park that will be ariving in Orlando soon. The woman thought that Warner Bros. had moved the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to go along with the opening of the park. I had mentioned that Warner Bros. had moved the release date from November 21 to July 17 because the Harry Potter films that were released during the summer did so well. I had also mentioned that I had heard a rumor that they moved the date because Daniel Radcliffe was too busy with Equus to promote Harry Potter. She replied with a comment that I would get in trouble posting on here.
I ended up being the first person at the store to purchase the book. I got home 10 minutes ago. I'm going to start reading the book after I have had some sleep.
