Actor Alan Rickman (Snape) has been amongst those to have donated money to his alma mater, Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, located in west London, England. He intends to help a student of a "disadvantaged background" by paying their full tuition.

Alan visited the institution two years back, where "he addressed A-level drama students at the school and promised to get a couple of them work on the next Harry Potter film as extras."
