&&BACKGROUND

Hundreds of children have attended Hogwarts. Although many stay throughout the whole year, there are some who do not. They are known as Echos. Simply because they apply and reapply and ect. These kids have issues with their home life, whether it be parents getting sick, going to Azkaban, themselves needing to attend St. Mungo's for reasons not clarified to the school.
Abuse, being Physical, Verbal, or Emotional happens to these children. So Hogwarts has created a 'safe house' in best form for the kids so their education could be fulfilled. Witches and Wizards need proper training.
This miniature school is about twenty miles from Hogwarts, about half the size. They have the same classes, accept their beds and meals are offered year round.


&&PLOT

We will be focusing on the main idea of the life for these kids. They want to learn, but some may have attitude problems, emotional problems, or anything of the sort.
I ask that we only have sixth years.

Lacey is smart. But it does come to a disadvantage. Sometimes, she turns out smarter than most people, and with her fear of rejection, she tends to dumb herself down.

HISTORY
In Wexford, Ireland on January 1st, 1992, Lacey Margret James was born. Her parents, Margret and Jonathon were young and in love. It only took four years until the arguing began. Arguing turned to fighting. Fighting turned into Screaming. Screaming turned into one leaving for days at a time. Then it came to Lacey and her father, all alone. He drank, abused her, used his magic against the law, and ended up in Azkaban. Margret came around when that happened, her new boyfriend lived in Dublin, and they soon after became engaged. When Lacey wanted to know why her mother just up and left, Margret would turn it around, and ask why Lacey was such a terrible child. Everyone said it was Lacey's fault that Margret and Jonathon separated, at least, that's what Lacey thought. With troubles at home, shortly after Lacey began wizarding school, she was plucked out several times. This would've been a problem, accept Lacey was always ahead. She called it 'Preparing to leave'. Preparing got harder when the school work grew, and shortly after it started, she fell behind. Now getting a chance to live somewhere stable year round, Lacey jumped, and her mother and step-father happily shipped her off.
