Honestly, they should invite the children as their guests of honor or something. After all if its HP convention, we kids play the most important role in existence of HP.

I sort of agree. But them many 17/18/19 year olds are the original fans who read PS when it first came out when they were in the target age group. Nearly everything to do with HP is aimed at kids, so it's only fair to have something for the fans who have matured since first reading the books.
