Professor Slughorn returns the previous day’s homework. Snape anxiously waits for his parchment. He’s sure he got an Outstanding on his armadillo bile essay. Snape is disappointed to see he got a Troll. He puts he parchment in his bag and brews today’s potion. After class Snape lags behind. He wants to talk to Professor Slughorn.

“Professor Slughorn, can I have a word with you?” Severus asks. “It’s about yesterday’s homework assignment.”

“Excellent paper, Mr. Snape,” Slughorn says.

“Then why did it rate a Troll?"

“You spelled potion ten times in your essay poshon. You should know how to spell potion.”
