The third movie installment of popular teen wizard Harry Potter is zeroing in on its predecessors at the box office.

Prisoner of Azkaban is neck-and-neck with Chamber of Secrets and could easily match or exceed that film's U.S. revenues. Azkaban has not fallen below $2 million a day, something Chamber would likely want kept a Secret since it fell below that mark briefly on its 19th day out.

The film is also outperforming its younger siblings during the week, no doubt helped by school kids who are out on summer vacation, and continues to debut around the world. It was also helped by being released on a National Holiday on May 31st in the UK, with the next week following being a holiday for the British school kids too.
