Post Helen McCrory talks Half-Blood Prince co-stars

In a new interview chronicling actress Helen McCrory's (Narcissa Malfoy) acting career, she talks about her on-set work experience with her Half-Blood Prince co-stars Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix), Alan Rickman (Snape), and Jim Broadbent (Slughorn):

Quote:
"There's Helena in Doc Martins, mad hair and rolling eyes, Alan Rickman as Snape who, if he was more relaxed, his heart would stop. Then Jim Broadbent is lurching towards you opening the door. It's surreal. These are actors normally playing lead roles and some have four lines here. So it's amazing creativity both on the acting and production fronts. There's this freedom to create which is quite unusual for Britain," she admits.
The article mentions how Helen was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange in Order of the Phoenix (the role now being played by Helena Bonham-Carter), but had to step aside as she had become pregnant with her second child. It also reinforces the fact that Helen will be back to play Narcissa in the Deathly Hallows films.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
will make its way into theatres November 21, 2008.
