Serena Roberts

RP Sample:

She walked. And walked. Past the whispering portraits as they hurried to their neighbors and murmured about the blonde walking past. Past the knights in shining armor who creaked. Just wanting a place to be alone. Away from everyone. She didn’t even know why she was feeling this way. Depression had crept up on her like shadows, making her want to crawl out of the dark and back into the light where her friends were. The people who made her feel loved and happy. Her sister was no where to be found. After the glorious moment on the beach where they were reunited and shed the hostile relationship, she hadn't seen her for weeks.

Brushing her soaked wet hair back; even the weather was matching her mood. A thunderstorm had started in the middle of her walk in the gardens, drenching her and everything around it. The plants welcomed it at least but that was all. Droplets of water fell as she shook her hair to prevent it from falling on her face and smearing her makeup even further.

Her clothing attire was definitely not suited to the stormy weather outside. Her loosely formed casual pink sundress from American Eagle was now plastered to her skin. She prayed that no one was around the place where she was going now. Well, she prayed that no hot guy was there of course. She didn't want to make a bad impression.

She hurried down the corridor and stopped at the ancient hanging that stood before. She loved staring at it. When on normal days at least, when she wasn't dripping wet and when black makeup wasn't running down her face from the rain. The black cloth had been embroidered with the Hogwarts crest on it. Life sized. Not just the same one on their everyday robes, this one was much bigger and she loved the power and greatness it had over her. She pushed back the tapestry and entered the long abandoned Inter-house common room. Well it was abandoned to everyone else but not to her. This place was her escape. Her release.

She stoked up the fire and dried herself off with her wand that had misplaced and had left here the last time she came up. Opening her bag she had also dried out, she checked the contents to see if anything was water damaged. She sighed in relief and reapplied her makeup after seeing it in the mirror.

Serena Roberts stared at the growing fire, which was casting a warm glow in the empty common room and sighed. Her depression was leaving her quickly. Only this place seemed to do that. She leaned back into the comfortable armchair and stared out the window, into the stormy skies.
