She had to talk to him. But could she talk to him? And what would she said?
No, it was better to stay away. Yes. Staying away was the best option since she'd do nothing but bore him or make a fool out of herself.
But then again, it was now or never. And she missed him. She missed him too much. And if he did get bored or if she started to feel unusually weird... well, she could always attempt to escape somehow.
And so, before she could run away from herself, she filled her lungs with air and her body with the courage she did not possess. "Good morning, Ollie!," She called while forcing her feet to move again even if they were doing it in a slower manner. For a moment, Ollie wasn't sure if he had heard his voice. For a while, he used to imagine hearing sweet Hannah's voice calling for him. She would always call in that sweet, sing-song voice, splitting up the syllables of his name. "Ooooooooooooll-iiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee" and though it was his own imagination, it always made goose pimples rise on his skin and the hair stand on end.
But this was not sweet Hannah's voice, he knew. Hannah had never been much of a morning person. And this voice lacked that sing-song quality that Hannah's always had.
He turned around to find Roisín down the hall from him, making her way to him.
"Oh! G'morning, Roisín," he greeted her, waving and hiking his bag on his shoulder, adjusting it. "Off to breakfast?" .
Honestly, he knew little of this Roisín girl. She had always seemed, to him, a bit shy and quiet. But an outsider's view could always be a skewed perspective. For instance, until this moment, he'd never noticed how curly and vibrant her hair was. With the golden light of the sunrise spilling in through the windows of the hall washed over her hair, the red and the gold mingled in a manner that could only be described as beautiful and he realized, suddenly, he had to paint that.
Sunset.
"What are you doing tonight?" the boy murmured, caught up in his artistic visionary. His head tipped to the right and part of his hair fell over his face as he gazed upon her hair, looking at the golden light dancing on the curls. Why had he never noticed this before?! Quote:

Inez started giggling with a cruel kind of enjoyment as she thought about the nose. It had gone so very badly... But with the next statement she fell silent and frowned. "What?" Blink.
For once it didn't take long for her to process. And she was officially irked. "She--" She pointed off in some random direction. "He--" Now at Quentin. "NO! She can't. She just.. EWw and NO!" Quentin looked up from his hardly touched food and right at Boo. Carly Kennedy? Oh she had to be joking. First of all, it was Carly. Sure, she'd go for anyone, but it was Quentin. And she didn't keep much interest and those who didn't have any interrest in her. Second, again, it was Quentin. Yeah, he could certainly pass as attractive, but he wasn't Nolan and Tristan.
And now, on top of it all Inez was irked. "'Nez I'm sure she wa-" Inez ignored his mutters and interrupted with all the little secrets and things she'd heard about the girl. "She shaves her arms! And her parents are in the middle of this GINORMOUS divorce all because of her! And I saw her cheat off someone once! And her name isn't even Carly! It's Carmelina-Lewana." She crossed her arms bitterly for a moment.
Hense what the pack rat can store. Quentin found himself glancing down at the other end of the table, hoping she wasn't loud enough for everyone else to hear. Or for Kennedy to hear... His eyes wandered back to Mozzie at her words. Was she trying to say that he wasn't good enough for anyone? And that the only reason that anyone would possibly look at him was to get Inez riled?
Ouch.
Well overall he could really care less... At least about Carly that was. What he really wanted was the conversation to end. He opened his mouth to say something and yet again was interrupted! Sigh. "What do you mean what's he gonna do about it huh?" Inez asked, looking at Mozzie now. "He's gonna do nothing! She's eww and horrible and he's better than her," she ended up concluding to herself, stabbing her soggy pancake like it was a certain someone's face. "What she said.. 'Bout the nothing part," he muttered uncomfortably as he once again looked down at his plate. "She said that I should be all by my onsie since she didn't get how I could sit at the same table with people above my level and so much smarter than me. So she started it!" Inez answered Motzie as she attempted to get a piece of pancake off the end of her fork. "Well you sort of riped her shirt.." "Accident," she managed to answer in a sing songy kind of voice, finally flicking the food off the fork. "And again, she was probably looking at the Pretty Twins over here," he added as a by-the-way statement, running a hand through his dark hair, as was his habit.
What a horrible day. And oh look! Only still morning. He was like a freaking target! What happened to being half ignored? He missed that. He looked over at Tristan. Yes Storme seemed to know him well. "Who likes pie?" he said rhetorically, so as to say that yes! A subject change would be great. "I'm still over it," Inez added in. OoC: He better. Cos I will be the first to admit that I'm a sucker for fluff and Quozzie just screams FLUFF! to me. Plus, I like to know what people are thinking. These kids were like a headache in a can. Hanging his head, Tristan ran his long fingers through his hair, raking it up and left them there. Why couldn't they let anything drop? And why was Inez so set on bringing down this stupid girl? Couldn't he just... ignore her? Ugh.
Yet there they all obsessed over it and Quentin didn't even seem to want to be a part of the conversation and they kept on chattering away. When were they going to... grow up?
No... Tristan couldn't imagine a matured version of his group of friends. They just wouldn't be the same people, would they? Boo waved a fork at Inez, a bit of pancake hanging for dear life to the tongs. "You need to end this fued. She's not worth all this fuss and babble. We should be talking about more fun things. Like... the 'study group' I want to form. We'll eat lots of food and listen to music and dance around." "...so, where's the study part fit in?" asked Nolan, raising an inquisitive brow. "Right. When we get tired from dancing, we can pause to study for a while. You know, it's been said that you shouldn't study for long periods of time without breaks." "I think those are only fifteen minute breaks, though," Mozzie pointed out. "Shh! Whatever! You know you're in!" "Of course I'm in!" "Inez? Of course you are. Quentin, you'll come, right? Right? And Nolan has to come - he's a Prefect and will be 'supervising' us and Stormy, you'll come. Right? Right Stormy?" Tristan sighed and shook his head, conceding. Yes. He'd be there, if only to be the only one studying. "Hurraaah!" cheered Mozzie. "We'll have to get the others, too. Like love-struck Georgie over here and Grace who was tumbling round the Common Room with Taylor. What's with everyone? Holy sugar sticks!" Was everyone hooking up? "Ich. Look! Schedules are being passed out."
For emphasis of her dislike, Mozzie curled up in a ball on the bench and ducked her head beneath the table. If I can't see them, they can't see me (said the Ostrich). Quote:

Well, you could honestly this bunch was one of the tightest friends around. They even said the same things! Even when Boo was speaking unlike herself today. Hehe.
"Aww! I'm sorry you guys!" She said, a smile still evident on her face. "It's just that, well..." She lowered her voice and leaned forward a bit. "Me and Hugo were out last night. And, eeeeek! It was just, the best!" She was trying her hardest not to squeal, really. "And Boo! He's not a heart breaker! He's a really nice guy. Kind of a flirt, though, but then so am I! Auberon's the heart breaker, and we all know that. Hmph." She gave a small pout and stuck her tongue out good-humoredly. What could she say, she was in a good mood!
Then she turned from Nolan to Tristan, blinking at them (Well, kind of blushing when she looked at Tristan. He was still cute!). "You guys said the same things again! Heeee!" She couldn't help but giggle. So what, maybe she had some excess energy, too. And being around these people only added to the energized feel.
Oh, and that look that Nollie gave Quentin as he said something about using up Mozzie's energy, no matter how inconspicuous he intended it to be, made Georgie's eyes turn into wide, curious orbs. Now the energy was REALLY up!
And she felt like she was just about ready to burst into little tiny pieces.
As familiar, warm hands slid around her face, covering her eyes, Georgie gave a little yelp of surprise, then giggled once more. She knew he'd come. She knew it was him even if he hadn't spoken. But then again, the words he uttered sent shivers down her spine. She gently peeled his hands off her face and looked up at him. "Hugooo!" She beamed happily, then handed him his jacket. "Thanks for this." And she was trying not to blush. Eeeek.
[/COLOR] Where Inez was Boo's other best friend, Georgie had always felt like Mozzie's other beset friend. So naturally, one could understand why she felt so miffed for being ditched by Georgie for a boy.
"The best," muttered Mozzie. "Better, then, than hanging out with us, I guess?" Perhaps she was feeling catty, but she felt rather betrayed by this. She didn't choose boys over Georgie or Boo or Nolan or anyone in their group. So... granted she never had really had a boyfriend or actual romantic ties with other boys. And, okay, all her favorite males were always around her anyway.
But this was different!
Couldn't she have been with them and that boy?
Hmph.
Then, in typical childish fashion, she turned her face away from Georgie, a pout on her lips.
