ooc: And he's SO hating Nolan in this scene! -giggles evily- Had Quentin done something to Nolan the other night? Did he say something offensive? This is what he was trying to figure as he sat, staring down at his food with his fork in hand.
At his last words, he made another stab at his food and stuck the peice of pancake in his mouth. There was no more change in color to his face. He just chewed. And rather vehemently at that. "Oh!" Good ol' oblivious Inez just grinned and nodded. "Well I don't think it would have worked. I don't like rain, 'cause we broke up a long time ago because of heights and other stuff." What? "OoooO! I like puddles! They're actually friendly." She grinned and stuck a vibrant blue bendy-straw in her drink. Taking a big sip she looked at Mozzie like she was telling a story. Quentin smirked at the new and more clear picture of Nolan and his happy puddle-jumping. Maybe he should get him a yellow rain coat and rain boots!
He looked up at Mozzie. "We-" "Rain is wetttttt," Inez interrupted. "Aaannnd! I heard it was goasts spitting all over the place. It's gross..." She said very matter-of-factly.
Then there was a frown. "Why didn't you tell all of us hmm?" Oh dear god. "Here we go," Quentin muttered, glancing down at his plate again. And he thought it was classes that were going to make this day horrible. Oh how wrong he was. There were so many other things to consider. Well... as of now.
But then there was a change of subject! Tristan, ladies and gentlemen-- Quentin's new best friend. "No, not in the least," he stated looking up at him. "I am!" Inez sang. "I'm gonna blow the teachers sox off this year and then they'll realize that I'm in the wrong place," she beamed.
